"We stayed at 180 degree ocean views for three nights. The house was as advertised and perfect for our family of four. The host was fantastic. The neighborhood was safe, walking friendly, and close to great restaurants. The walk to Lover's Point was nice and the seals were visible from the house during morning coffee. Stay here!"

"I visited this property with my mom and her dogs in July 2025 and we had the most lovely stay. The house was perfect and the backyard so peaceful to let the dogs out and for us to decompress. The location was absolutely perfect - being able to walk to the iconic 17 mile drive was so incredible. We didn’t realize how close we were to such stunning ocean views! It’s also an easy 15 min drive to Pacific Grove and Monterey, which are also very dog friendly. The neighborhood was so quiet, everyone...

"I loved my stay at Highlands in Carmel!It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The building was exceptionally clean. There were a few small things that didn't really bother our stay but may bother others. - 1 Burner on the stove wasn't working (There are plenty more burners)- although you are seemingly provided every utensil, we could not find a whisk. These are clearly not large issues and not worth holding against the property.
