"Me and my fiancé stayed for 3 nights and this was an amazing place. The view, we were waking up to, was truly magical. There's everything you might need, from refrigerator and cooktop through shower with hot water. Kim is a very attentive and hospitable host. We had no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend this place to everybody who is looking for some solitude or juat trying to discover less touristy north and north east part of Big Island."

"This house is in a pretty awesome location. The views make up for anything that isn’t top of the line. The kitchen appliances were really nice and the beds/sheets were really clean and comfortable. The downsides are there is only a/c in the living room - none of the bedrooms have it. The weather was nice enough that we were fine but if it was a little warmer, sleeping wouldn’t have been as comfy. It’s a very damp area of the island so leaving the doors and windows open all the time makes...

"The property was great! Very relaxing yet still had all the essentials. It was super fun walking the property and enjoying all the fresh fruit! Star gazing in the hot tub was also enjoyable. Overall we enjoyed our stay so much & had so much fun exploring the big island. Only downside is the closest beach is about a 20 minute drive and there is no AC so it can get warm during the day, but wasn’t a problem at night."

"What a wonderful experience! My wife and I are the current longest reigning residents (12 days). The treehouse was so warm and comfortable, you could tell at every glance the amount of thought that went into building this treehouse. Madeline and Todd were wonderful hosts! The sound of the birds at night was something we would go for again. We had a visit from a couple of beautiful geckos on our last day. We cannot say enough what a great place tucked into the woods. Privacy was paramount for us...

"House as described, Dannie is a wonderful host and always reachable. She helped us with everything in our special situation, we will never forget her and Jessica. If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else. "This place was amazing! So clean and SO creative. Lots of cute frog-themed touches. They definitely put heart in to developing this oasis. Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. "Quiet, end of the road, fruit farm. Most of the time you could only hear birds and frogs. Occasionally there was some farm equipment noise and mowing. Very safe. Owners live behind and there are other cottages on the property, but it is all arranged so you feel like you are the only one there. Easy drive to many things to see. Clean and comfortable. Friendly owners respected my privacy."
