House well equipped except for toilet paper.

Screen door was not installed going out to deck. Chairs really rusty. Beds comfortable. TV worked well. Would have liked a telephone number to talk with manager from beginning of booking reservation.

Great for a family get-together!

Hollywood Beach has many rentals so it works great for separate families to gather close by; in this case, a family wedding. And wow- what a beautiful area!! This house had an open floor plan with the kitchen/living room/dining table and a vaulted ceiling and lots of windows, which gave the space a welcoming feel. The kitchen had most everything you need except any staple items, which was a bit inconvenient. Everyone’s beds were comfy, everything was clean. Not high end finishes, but more than adequate and most everything worked. The garage held a W/D, and plenty of beach items for our use. Dawn was very helpful thru the entire stay! We definitely will want to return again, but I might work with Dawn to see what other listings they have that are smaller (unless my adult children want to stay with us again!) We enjoyed ourselves at this house 👍

Loved our Hollywood Beach vacation home!

This was a summertime family reunion of sorts... as children, our parents regularly rented summer beach homes in Newport Beach so fast forward to 2023 and we decided to take my 93 year old mom to Ventura County instead of the craziness that surrounds Newport Beach activities. Best decision ever. Great house, outstanding location, fully equipped and exceptionally clean. While it was difficult for our mom to regularly navigate the stairs due to her age, with our help, she was able to get out for dinner but to also enjoy the house and just relax reading, people watching or looking out at the surf... which is a clear view due to the single story house across the street. Highly recommend walking up/down Ocean Drive and the beach in the mornings; having a meal at Waterside or Sea Fresh -- incredibly convenient (and great food). Or just watching the sun go down... the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful... We couldn't have found a better location... we'll definitely see you again! Thanks so much to Dawn for making checkin/out so easy.

Great family stay

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Blue. Great communication with the property owners. Wonderful, clean space, close to the beach. We had so much fun with our group ranging from ages 17-86. Plenty of space for our group of 9. Would definately stay again.

FANTASTIC! Can't wait to return!!

CLEAN! We have stayed at a lot of vrbo's this past year and this by far the cleanest. Even tge refrigerator was spotless! The location is excellent, great view of the ocean, easy walk to beach, local Cafe and the marina. This place has everything you need for a great family gathering ❤️. Bicycles, beach toys, beach towels, beach chairs and grill! We will definitely be back - Kathy Lippman

Amazing place to stay!

Such a great place to stay! We were there for Thanksgiving. Has all of the amenities and plenty of dishes for cooking, etc. Bedrooms are spacious and everything incredibly clean. An added perk is that you can see the ocean. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great location and set up

We stayed at the beach house for a long weekend. The 8 of us had a great and very comfortable stay. The location is wonderful and the rental team was responsive if we needed anything. My only complaint is that the table is very, which is beautiful and huge, was very sticky. I think some of the finishing out it may be wearing off and it could use a table cloth.

Excellent property and location

The vacation home had a nice large great room and big table for gathering around. Four private bedrooms and clean bathrooms. The patio was bigger than expected and had a view of the ocean. The garage had a nice box of sand toys and 6 bikes although only 4 were usable. The location was close to the beach and the marina. The maria had a concert and a farmer’s market. It was an overall great experience! The only negative was that one side of the toaster burned the bread, the double mattress on the lower bunk bed was uncomfortable, and the clothes dryer did not work well. I highly recommend this property for a great vacation.

Great location for family trip

This location is perfect for any family trip, walk to beach, maritime museum, island packers, kayak and bike rentals, sunday farmers market and great restaurants! Just a short drive to grocery, toppers pizza, starbucks, Santa Clara Church in the historic district and harbor night life for those who have a vehicle. If you're arriving at burbank airport, the metrolink can take you to oxnard station then uber to this location. Local delivery, instacart etc is available and the garage is stocked with beach gear. Enjoy!

Incredible house

We had such a wonderful time at this property! Perfect location across the street from the beach, plenty of parking, view of the ocean from kitchen and balcony, stocked garage with bikes and beach toys, and short distance to restaurants and cafes. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice. We are already planning a trip back.

Bright, roomy, lovely place for a larger group

Excellent place to stay with a group of friends. We made the short trip to Ventura harbor several times for trips to the Channel Islands for hiking, cave kayaking, and snorkeling, so didn't spend a lot of time on the property during the day, but it was a perfect place for 6 of us. Close to excellent restaurants and beaches.

Great location and spacious home

This home was more then what we thought we were getting. First Of all, the pictures on the website made the living room seem dark and out dated. Surprisingly it was very spacious with a large slider door allowing a cool breeze in and daylight.; and up to date appliances. The best part was all the bikes, scooters, boogie boards, and even a paddle board in the garage. They also had beach chairs, beach bag, and beach towels for us to use. We will definitely stay here again.

Even Better Than Expected!!!

Large beautiful house with a bit of a view of the ocean from a great deck!!! Plenty of space for the entire family and an easy walk across the street to the beach. The house had beach chairs, bikes, towels, toys……everything you could need! Check in was easy. We loved everything about this house!

Hollywood beach house

Great house, great location and very spacious. Some amenities were lacking, however (no wine opener?? no coffee filters?? almost a crime). Overall a great place , however.

Wonderful house just next to the Ocean

Beautiful house just steps from the beach. Well equipped. Great communication with the managers. Reasonable price. Would come back in a heartbeat. We have been in at least 7 rental houses at the Oxnard shore and this one was one of the best. The only odd thing was that in the pictures of the house there is an upper deck on the rooftop but you cannot get there as there is no staircase or ladder connected to it - adding a possibility to get there would definitely enhance the experience as I am sure there is a beautiful view from that rooftop.

for the most part it was great. we loved the large living area and the deck. the three bathrooms were conveniant and with four bedrooms there was plenty of space for us. the matresses are not the best and the beds are noisy. trash was left in the green trash can with something decaying. it smelled with lots of flys.

Great House in a FANTASTIC LOCATION !!

We will definitely be back to this home! Ocean views from the kitchen and living room! Quiet location and right across from a beautiful beach! They provided beach chairs, sand toys, and some bikes. The home was clean and the property manager was accommodating. The couch was a great place for everyone to gather and we loved that the table was large enough for everyone to eat together! Tip- Bring your own spices for cooking and beach towels. The garage and driveway parking was great for a beach town!

Perfect spot for peaceful getaway

We come up to Oxnard for a week as a family and brought a few of my kids’ teenage friends. The house was beautiful and clean, more updated than some of the other beach houses we have rented in the area, and just across the street from the beach. Well-stocked kitchen which was great as we tend to cook and eat all our meals at our rental houses. Definitely a place to come back to!
