Ocean Front Beach House Right on the Sand

This charming beach house is located right on the sand and has incredible enormous ocean and islands views extending all the way to the nearby Channel Islands! This Coastal Sunset Beach House is very large and comes fully equipped with everything you could ever need to enjoy the uncrowded beach.

3 floors/levels home with bedrooms on every level of 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, dining area, 3 large outdoor private decks facing the ocean, fully equipped kitchen on main floor and a propane BBQ on downstairs beach deck. The top 3rd floor bedroom suite's king bed has spectacular unobstructed ocean view allowing you to wake up looking at the sea from your bed!

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
The house comfortably sleeps many persons with 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 1 double bunk bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa/futon bed, and 1 small single pull out sleeper sofa beds. All the mattresses are comfy and suitable for adults. A portable cot bed is also available.

Two Fireplaces one on the first floor and the other on the second floor to make you warm and comfy!

The house has all the toys and gadgets you will need to be entertained and comfortable. Large 55' screen TV in 1rst floor downstairs living room with DVD player, 28' flat screen TV in downstairs bedroom, 3 DVD players with DVD's to watch are included, Large 55' screen TV in 2nd floor living room with Blu Ray DVD player, 1 TV in 2nd floor and 1 TV in 3rd floor master bedrooms, wireless internet, cable, radio/cd player, books to read while you relax, karaoke machine, many children's toys, board games, 16 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 beach lounge chairs.

The garage has beach toys and surf boards, all available for guest use including two boats, kayak, windsurfer, water fins, 6 boogie boards, 2 surf boards, 1 stand up paddle board, wet suits in various sizes, 4 bicycles, air hockey, ping pong and Foosball tables, badminton, beach tennis, smash ball set, horseshoe set, frisbee, volleyball, football, soccer balls, fishing pole/tackle, beach balls and children sand toys. Outside the house on the sand, you will find a beach volleyball court and a lifeguard station.

A full-sized washer and dryer is also available on the 2nd floor to keep all your clothes and beach towels fresh for the next dayā€™s fun!

Maximum 16 guests on the property at any other times.

The house is only a 1/2 mile from the Channel Islands Harbor, and many great walking to distance restaurants such as: Quincy's Street Steakhouse, Jetty Surf, Pepe's Mexican Food, and a convenience store.
4th of July biggest in Ventura County Firework Show seen from this house.

THE AREA

Silver Strand Beach is a laid-back beach community where the weather is warm all year long and the sun comes out all year round.

Neighbor to the scenic Channel Islands, Channel Islands Harbor is a recreational harbor that offers fun-filled water activities for the whole family. Inside the harbor there are nine marinas, unique shopping, and great waterfront restaurants. The area is known for great beach walks, boating, surf, whale watching, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba diving, jet skiing, snorkeling, and fishing. There's plenty to see and do in Ventura County for people of all ages.

The Channel Islands National Park is located only eleven miles off shore. By boat it only takes 1 hour to take you on an exciting day-long excursion to Anacapa or Santa Cruz island. These islands are home to more than 2,000 plant and animal species - some found nowhere else on Earth such as the channel Fox. The whole family will be in awe by exploring these wondrous islands. If you can't make it out to the islands head to the Ventura Harbor for the Channel Islands visitors center and put your hands in the touch tank!

Overall experience was absolutely great....It's and older house ..so not a lot of Modern amenities. But it was spacious..beautiful and Clean. Kitchen lights flicker a lil bit at times...But its an amazing house...I would definitely choose this house again.

This Place has served as a wonderful getaway for years now for our church youth group. It is the perfect place to get away and relax with the most beautiful beach views. Rain or shine, this place provides a cozy getaway with plenty of room to cook, play games, watch movies, and have great time with community!

We loved the location and overall amenities were very suitable. With a little love this place would be perfect. A few mattresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable, the patio furniture needs to be replaced, and the kitchen and bathrooms could use some updating. But the price was reasonable and you can't beat the location. The property manager was also very nice. We would stay here again.

Absolutely one of the best beach houses on the water. Huge home With all the toys you could want to play on land or in the water. The main living, kitchen area is fantastic for cooking & entertaining everyone! Plenty of space for all. . Was a total blast for the fourth of July! Definitely be staying here again !!

For the location price was expected. Out the door to the sand. Checking was easy. Like everyone else I will Note this property needs an interior facelift. Well stocked but couch is stained, the furnishings, cabinets are aged. Big tv on third floor is out of service so you watch a small one thatā€™s in a desk obstructed a pole in floor blocking view. A little money and they could make this a real gem! Ping pong table was a blast. Kitchen/family space was a great size.

This property was a good find. The house needs to be updated, and has a weird layout. There is a bathroom upstairs that is blocked off which really makes the master bedroom less desirable. Loved the location right on the beach and all of the beach toys available for use. We had a great time and would stay there again.

Silver Strand Beach is always great and it didnā€™t disappoint this time. We were three generations, group of six, celebrating Easter and relaxing. The house worked well for us but it definitely needs some updating: baking pans were old and scarred up, towels were thinā€”and rental does not include beach towels (knew this going in but very surprising), bedding/sheets were thin. Never used equipment in garage bc weather was not warm and kids were too young for bikes, boards and ping pong. House was clean. Zan was very responsive when we had questions.

Everyone enjoyed Silver Strand Beach and the view from this home is unbeatable once we cleaned the windows. The property itself is nice overall with lots of space and sleeping accommodations. Not sure if I missed this, but the house set up like a 4-bedroom condo upstairs and a 1-bedroom condo downstairs. It worked out well for our multiple family get-away giving one family a little extra and much needed privacy. Beach access was easy. The decor of this property is comfortable enough, we slept well in the beds and it was clean, but itā€™s is not fancy or elegant as Iā€™ve experienced in other vacation rentals. Not a deal-breaker for me, but could be off-putting to some. Also, we visited in the winter and it rained so our outside time and use of the patio and deck furniture was limited. But we noticed that all those items: chairs, umbrellas, loungers etc all looked pretty dilapidated. That happens at the beach but had we visited in the summer and found that I would have been disappointed. Last point: There is an apparent serious concern for noise at this property. There are signs and reminders EVERYWHERE. Not a big deal for us, but if I had stayed here with kids who played outside I would have been stressed out the whole time.

There's beach tar everywhere and it ruined our shoes. It is annoying to stay on the upper floor with only a toilet and no sink! The house needs some TLC. Very small kitchen!! The location is quiet and that was nice. If you visit Oxnard, you must go to Toppers Pizza! Best pizza I've ever have!

This house is right on the beach and had plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for larger families. We paid the extra fee for use of the full master bathroom but didnā€™t use the tub. The kids did enjoy the ping pong table. I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs. There were plenty of TVs and a larger one in the main living area which was great for family movie night after a day at the beach. As others have mentioned the house does need some updating and maintenance.

The house is exactly how the pictures show in the VRBO Listing. It was a great location and amazing beach and sunsets. The house was large enough for our family and we had such a great time. The house could use some upgrades including the ancillary listed items such as beach chairs that are mostly rusted or broken. We enjoyed our vacation and would stay again.

All toys needed repairs. My 3yr old grandson feel thru seat straps on porch chair. The property needs work. No A/C. When hot you open windows. Most had no screens which in turn brought in bugs, mosquitoes. I paid a lot of money to stay in a beach house with no usable toys and according to management grumpy neighbors who will call police if you walk near there property or enjoy the outdoors after 10pm. Beach access good but waves in this area were pounding and had a strong back wash. Not suited for kids
