OCEAN BREEZE BEACH HOME

Ocean Breeze Beach Home was designed to be your perfect vacation rental, conveniently located on "The Silver Strand", near the Channel Islands Harbor, just 15 miles south of Ventura, 30 miles north of Malibu and 45 miles from Santa Barbara in California.
Truly a beach decor, with vivid blues and whites, this four bedroom house is only 400 feet from the beach. The three bottom-floor bedrooms are completely private of one another (2-Q, 1-K). They all have a private bathroom, closet, WIFI, cable TV, hair dryer, an iron and ironing board. Each bottom-floor bedroom has a glass sliding door.
Upstairs leads to the entertainment area and kitchen. The kitchen has complete cooking utensils, dishes for 10 + guests plus a set of four plastic dishes for the children, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, microwave, toaster oven and blender. The large top story is an open floor plan, so you can cook, watch TV, drink at the bar and eat without feeling isolated. Or head out to the outdoor patio to barbecue on a natural gas BBQ or have cocktails during sunset. There is a glass table and chairs and plenty of additional room for mingling and enjoying the ocean breeze.
The Master Suite upstairs supports a complete family with a king bed, bunk beds and a pull-out single. The bathroom has a large shower with 2 shower heads. This bedroom also has its own cable TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The house has beds for four (4) couples and three (3) children, Ventura County permit only allows 10 guest.
The Silver Strand Beach has waves that are great for boogie boarding and surfing. The sand is clean and soft for a walk or run. You can kayak, rent an electric boat to cruise the channels, stand up paddle boarding, sport fishing, visit the Channel Islands or just relax on the sand.
Pets are allowed with an additional $50.00 cleaning fee. After playing at the beach, you can clean up with the outdoor hot and cold water shower. Relax around the natural gas fire pit.
There are three (3) parking spaces for guest in front of the house. The garage is off limits to guest. If you have more than three cars, there may be parking available on the side streets.
A mile walk, bike ride, or drive you will find a grocery store, coffee bar and restaurant. Two miles out of Silver Strand, you can drive to a shopping center with a Ralph's market, Starbucks, Manhattan Bagel, I Hop, Toppers Pizza, The Waterside Wine Bar and Restaurant, Ross, plus many more amenities.

Blissful beach stay

We loved it! All the kitchen and beach accessories, household appliances, bathrooms for everyone and short walk to the beach. We grilled and used the fire pit every night. Baby proofed really helped too. Thank you!

Mini Vacation and Family Wedding

We came into town from Minnesota for a family wedding over the weekend and stayed a few extra days. The place was just perfect for us. We had 9 people total in our party 8 adults and 1 teenager (14). It has everything we needed. One of the biggest game changers for us was that each of the 4 bedrooms had their own personal bathroom with shower which is huge when having so many people getting ready for a wedding. It also has an open kitchen/family room area where we all could hang out comfortably and spend some quality family time. Will plan to stay here again if and when we have our next family wedding in California.We also loved the neighborhood and the ability to walk along the beach which is only a block away and see all the sea lions. Lastly the hosts are great at getting back to you with any questions you have and also went out of their way when my daughter left her wallet. They were kind enough to mail it back to us.

Terrific family stay

Location, location, location! Just a 5-minute walk to beautiful Silver Strand beach. The home was about perfect for four couples & one kid. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and 2 have king-sized beds. Thereā€™s a large gathering space on the upper floor that was very comfortable. Big kitchen/well appointed.

Family getaway

First day no electricity in one of the lower bdrms. Second morning no hot water throughout house. Third morning overflowing toilet in another lower bdrm which after plumber left we had to clean up and do laundry so we might have some extra towels. Expect to live out of your suitcases because two bdrms have no drawers and the drawers in the third lower bdrm are in closet whose doors barely slide. Upstairs in the kitchen/living area you also need to keep your foodstuffs in bags because no where to put it it. The table area was used for storage. There are plenty of plates, cups and silverware but as far as a well stocked kitchen itā€™s not. No mixing bowls, plenty of lids with no bottoms, etc. The laminate cupboards are peeling. As for cleanliness, outdoors pretty much nothing is cleaned. Indoors basically the pathways where you walk are probably cleaned but outside of that not. Dead spiders were seen along the baseboards which probably havenā€™t been been cleaned in ages. Well before covid Iā€™m sure. My daughter and her guest ended up getting a hotel room 15 min away after the toilet debacle. Iā€™m not really sure why guests are even charged a cleaning fee. It is close to a sandy beach and does have a nice bbq, just bring your own baster. Overall I feel Vrbo did us wrong on this one and need to present current pictures of property to prospective renters and not lie when describing it

Great Place

Great place for a large family. Each of the 4 bedrooms had a full bathroom, tv and a ceiling fan which was nice. Had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen. Short walk to the beach in the nice quiet neighborhood. We even got to see all the sea lions on the beach at the harbor. A little wear and tear on the beach house and some not so tidy rooms but all and all a nice place to stay.

Silver Strand Beach House

This property is exactly as described. It is equipped with everything you would have in your own home to cook meals for the entire family. And there are even chairs and toys to use at the beach! We were very comfortable and enjoyed every minute of our time there. Our only regret is that we didnā€™t stay longer!

Weekend getaway in a great way

Our weekend getaway at the beach house was amazing! A a present to our children, the house was exactly what our entire family needed. We have three kids, two married and one grandchild each. Having plenty of room for each to have their own room and bathroom was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and the less than one block to the beach was great for when we wanted to play. The check in and out instructions were simple and the communication was prompt and appreciated. We went for morning walks or runs, ate at The Strandwich and supported the corner market. We loved the quietness and quaintness of Silver Strand beach and hope to return again in the future to see other sights of the area which we couldnā€™t fit into our weekend.

Our Thanksgiving reunion

The Ocean Breeze beach house was a perfect location for the six of us. Everyone appreciated having their own bedroom and particularly their own bathroom. The open family room allowed us to be together to eat, watch television, talk and/or enjoy the outside terrace. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen which I used to make our Thanksgiving meal. In addition the location was such a short walk to the beach we were able to enjoy sunrises and sunsets.

Wonderful Home in Perfect Location

This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend at the beach with family. The hosts made the entire process a breeze and everything at the home is so well thought out. We loved having the warm outdoor shower after the beach, and then everyone being able to go into their own bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen and living room was open and inviting, and everything was very clean and comfortable. It was just a short walk to the end of the street and we were at the beach - didnā€™t even use the stroller once! We cannot wait to come back, and hope to make this an annual tradition!
