Fathers/sons

There were three families on this trip, fathers and adult sons. One of our requirements was that each person got his own bed, hard to find for seven adults. This property was perfect for us. Wires got crossed a bit with check-in instructions, but the rest of our stay was excellent. The place was clean and neat, and exactly as described. Highly recommended.

Ocean side dream!

This house was perfect. Everything we needed, and not overwhelming with the demands of the guest on check out. Empty trash, reset to the way it was. Very easy, and stress free. It felt like a comfortable home. Everyone had a wonderful time and I look forward to renting this property again!

Cozy home so close to the beach!

We loved our stay here! The living room was our favorite spot to hang out with everyone. Very cozy couch and the fireplace was great for the colder nights. There is so much space in this house. There were only 4 of us so the downstairs kind of went unused but would be perfect for an extra family if you’re traveling with serval. Communication with the property management was easy and great. Loved the little tar removal kit downstairs as some of us did get a little tar on our feet from the sand. Only complaint was that the outdoor areas weren’t very clean and the furniture is definitely worn and not what’s in the photos so we opted to just have our meals inside. Couple of the beds weren’t very comfortable but that is all according to preference. We loved how many towels/sheets there were available and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. We would definitely stay here again. The location is wonderful and although there isn’t much of a ocean view, being only three houses from one of the beach openings was so so nice!

Amazing Location

Very clean and complete space in incredibly beautiful surroundings! Quiet neighborhood, half a block from the beach. There were lots of stars visible on a clear night. Walking distance to Sunday Farmer’s Market! Plenty of space and comfy bedding for everyone. Well-stocked and modern kitchen for preparing a meal, including both a pod-style coffee machine and a large-capacity drip machine. 3 parking spaces. Please note that the top-floor bedroom has its own bathroom, which must be accessed through the bedroom. The other 2 full bathrooms are accessible by all. The host had a few important but brief guidelines as well as suggestions for nearby restaurants and such. Our guest had a wonderful experience here, and we believe you will enjoy it as well!

Lovely Beach House Just Steps From The Beach

Home was very comfortable. Plenty of room and privacy. We stayed here to celebrate a 60th and 65th birthday with our families. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. Upper deck was lovely for everyone to sit and visit. Easy walk to the harbor to enjoy the farmers market and restaurant's. Lovely vacation home.

It’s the one you need for large family or small , very comfortable stay with the layout, walk to the Harper for nice restaurants, day trip by boat , walk to the beach , communicate with the agent was easy and quick, clean enough space for everyone, it has everything you need to cook , closets full of emergency items you forgot at home , mouthwash, toothbrush,toothpaste, tissues, extra jacks and blankets and much more . Great beach house!

Clean, close to the beach (easy 1 minute walk), walking distance to 2 great restaurants and a nice coffee shop. We had 4 kids aged 7-12 and 6 adults and there was more than enough room. Would highly recommend.

Lovely beach house

Our family of five plus a grandmother and dog had a wonderful stay at this vacation home. The location is great—seconds away from beach access and a few minute walk from stores and a Sunday farmers’ market at the harbor. We really liked the area. The home was spacious and we appreciated all the extra beach towels.

Bright and Spacious

We were very pleased with all facets of the property and it’s a wonderful place to host friends and family. Our only complaints were that the trash can outside was already half full when we arrived which didn’t leave much room to add additional trash. Also, be sure to bring your own water and ice as the filtered water dispenser in the refrigerator does not provide filtered water. The gas range also has to be serviced as the front right burner knob appears to be stripped and is difficult to tell when the gas is off. Our only other complaint is that there were no paper towels and only 3 rolls of toilet paper, so be sure to bring your own. Small complaints in an otherwise very nice and comfortable property. The beds are very comfortable and towels and linens are very soft. Would definitely stay here again!

Family week

Great big clean beach across the street. Cute neighborhood good for walking. Dogs allowed on the beach at certain times. Quiet except for house construction all around which is pretty typical for beach areas due to maintenance and re builds. Peek a boo views of ocean in between the front houses. House was equipped with beach towels and beach chairs. Kitchen had needed utensils but low on coffee mugs (3) and able to make due with wine glasses. downstairs was an apt style with living room, bedroom and bathroom with mini kitchen. 19 year old son enjoyed that space but it was a bit cold and dark. Other bedrooms very spacious and master was top level, very big and bright. Plenty of TVs. Got no complaints about the wi-fi from the kids. Fit 7 of us very comfortably. Was nice to have a garage and driveway to park in. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close. We took a day trip to Santa Barbara and Solvang and enjoyed the several marinas and Camarillo outlet shopping. Teenagers had fun.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We booked this beautiful home last minute for my fiance's birthday last week, and it was the perfect beach getaway! We live in Santa Monica, but are originally from Santa Barbara, so it was a great middle location for our friends to meet us from each area. The house was very clean and very spacious. I especially loved that each of the rooms (aside from the master, a king) had full size queen beds in each, which made it more comfortable for our guests. And of course being dog friendly! Although I always love being on the sand, we were just a few feet away. Added benefit, if you're traveling with two families, there is a second living room downstairs with it's own separate room (with two queen beds) and bathroom. I would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend for families and friends to spend time together.

Best possible location

Stayed with friends and family for three nights and loved every minute. The location of this house can’t be beat. We walked to the beach, farmer’s market, bike rentals, coffee shop, and to all our meals. Not having to get in the car made vacation so much more relaxing. The beach across the street was empty and felt like our own private beach. The house was clean and the property manager was very responsive.

This was a great place where our whole family could visit and relax..

The layout of the house was perfect for our group of grandparents, parents and small grandchildren. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and was a two minute walk to the beach.. perfect for toddlers! We would stay here again

Great Family Vacation

This place was great for our small family reunion. 2nd floor was good gathering place for meals and socializing. Balcony was great for early morning coffee. There was also more than enough room for everyone to have their own private time when they needed it. Beach was just down the block, and not crowded at all. We had a great time.

Cute and Close to Beach!

Great location, cute modern decor, but some things need updating, like bathroom drawers, but these were minor issues. one problem was that we had been told the dishwasher was fixed, but it didn’t work at all. You could run it, but the dishes came out still very dirty. So we ended up hand washing a lot. Otherwise, we still enjoyed it very much!

Neglected property with safety concerns

We recently stayed at this property in Oxnard. There were some safety and cleanliness concerns that made our stay unpleasant. I wish I could attached photos. Safety concerns: 1. Shower on the top floor: When my husband went to take a shower and tried to slide the door, so that water wouldn’t spill out, the glass door came off the rails and nearly fell. Fortunately my husband was able to catch it, before it hit him. Upon inspection we noticed that the shower only has one side of normally two sliding glass doors and therefore the door is not secure when trying to slide it in the rails. 2. Dining room chair: the seat on one of the dining room chairs is not attached to the frame. When my mom tried to pull herself closer to the table after taking a seat, she pinched and bruised her finger between the seat and the frame. 3. Exposed outlet: in the bedroom with the 3 beds. One of the outlets is missing the safety cover. This is definitely a safety concern for families with small children. Cleanliness: 1. We had to move the couch set to retrieve something we dropped. When we did we found food dirt, coins, etc. under the couches. 2. Most dishes, silverware, pots and pans in the kitchen cabinets were dirty and had stuck on food. We had to wash everything before being able to use them. 3. Upon running the dishwasher for the first time, we found out that the dishwasher does not function properly (which explains the dirty dishes in the cabinets) and had to hand wash all dishes we used for our entire stay. 4. Both sinks in the top floor bathroom drain very slow. The house was nice and spacious, and the location to the beach was great, but for the high price we paid for 3 nights which included cleaning, service and other fees, we expected the place to be clean, safe and functioning. It is obvious that maintenance on this property has been neglected for quite some time. We were very fortunate that nobody was seriously injured. We have since contacted the property management and have been told that the problems will be fixed. They offered to refund the cleaning fee, which we feel is not a adequate compensation.
