"We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Sunrise Cottage. Beautiful views of the lake! The house was so clean and we appreciated that very much. Knowing that we were celebrating a Birthday, there were happy birthday balloons and candles. Good thing since I forgot 😳. So thoughtful! The homemade Quiche was outstanding as well as the Coffee Bar! "Sleeping arrangement and location was perfect for our trip. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful before and during our stay. Since we took the train into town we needed to drop our luggage off early. The host allowed us to do so. The housekeeper was there so we made sure to be quick and place it where it was not in their way. Housekeeping was very friendly and did a great job! We will definitely keep this place in mind when we make our next trip!"

"House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back."

"THE SPACE: My wife and I (and our 2 large dogs) were visiting family in Durham for the holidays and we couldn't be happier with this space. The inside of the property is a lot bigger than we expected and the beds were comfortable. Everything was thoroughly cleaned. "Hotel was GREAT! Modern and spacious... The view is breathtaking.... Windows everyone that allow you to connect with the beauty of the place... Loved it. Only downside: Pillows are extremely uncomfortable and the bed as well, but not as much as the pillows. I tossed and turned all night with how much they made my neck hurt.
