This is a very well maintained, very well thought out, and nicely decorated place. You can tell the owners put time, money, and energy into it, unlike some rentals we’ve been in. The owner was very responsive and helpful. My husband and I were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

It was very roomy and comfortable here. The neighborhood was quiet and there is a relaxing area in the back yard to enjoy. The host was amazing! Making sure you had any supplies you may need was especially thoughtful. Thank you for everything!

Great Stay close to Attractions

This host has thought of everything! Extra towels, comfy beds, labels for all the important things. The property is clean, in a nice subdivision. Marla wasoutstanding with communication and we loved all the little details. We will definitely stay again!!

Beautiful house to stay

Everything about this house was perfect. Location is great. Close to everything. House was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Shower was amazing! Floors do not squeak when walking. Beautiful back yard. Beds were very comfortable. I have nothing bad to say. Host was great to work with. No issues checking in.

Warm cozy beautiful place to stay

Perfect little brick ranch

The house was very welcoming! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need like your own kitchen. It was very homey, and the perfect place to stay. The bathroom was stocked with all the necessities, had you forgotten something at home. Plenty of towels, which was a must for us, since it was softball everyday, and it was so hot during our stay. The back yard was very cute and quaint, altho we didn’t spend much time out there, besides a cup of coffee a few mornings. Loved that she had fans in all rooms to help circulate the air and keep it cool in there. Marla was a great host!!! She messaged in daily to check in on our stay, to make sure we didn’t been anything, and to see how softball 🥎 was going for us. She was definitely the hostess with the mostest!! The best part, it was literally five minutes or so from Jack C. Fischer Park where all our games where. And so close to all the other families that stayed in Owensboro for the tournament. All in all would definitely stay again if we are ever down in that neck of the woods again for another tournament!! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We hit the jackpot with this one!!!

Marla’s place was a super place to stay! It was as well appointed of a place that we’ve stayed at with all of our VRBO trips. It was super clean, easy to get too and in a very peaceful neighborhood. You will not regret choosing this place to stay for any occasion. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!!

Like being a guests in her home!

Most vacation rentals I have stayed in have been very minimalist, much like hotel rooms. This house is decorated with plenty of linens and supplies. (Yes, there is a coffee pot AND a Keurig with coffee in the cabinet!) It felt like being welcomed into someone's home. My daughter had a birthday while we were there, and she was greeted with balloons and chocolate! Marla was very proactive in making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience

This was our first vrbo and was hopeful that it would be good. Marla did even better than we would have ever expected. The home was very clean and neat and well stocked with all the things you’d need, everything looked new or in great shape. Marla and her husband were very thoughtful and responded quickly with all questions and suggestions. A binder with many hand written notes listed many things to do and restaurants to eat at. I highly recommend choosing this vrbo. Thank you Marla.

Marla is the best!

We had a fantastic stay at the little brick ranch! The home was very accommodating and had everything we needed at our fingertips. We stayed for a soccer tournament that was happening close by and forgot our lawn chairs. I reached out to Marla and her husband brought us some chairs to use. That was so thoughtful. The house was very clean and felt like home. The fenced in backyard with outdoor games was perfect for the kids. We will be using this location again if traveling back to Owensboro. 5 stars!!

Wonderful property, phenomenal property manager

Marla was an absolute joy to deal with. All of our needs were met, and whenever we had a request or question, she was prompt and helpful with her response. The interior of the house was spotless, tasteful, and utterly useful. We felt instantly at home and cared for. The neighborhood seemed a bit rough -- from the online description, we expected a more rural location -- but the actual property itself was very well maintained on the outside with a privacy fence in the backyard that created the impression of being sheltered from the area around us. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone with the caution to not just a book by its cover -- or in this case, a property by its location!

So many details

I continue to rent on VRBO instead of hotels because I just love how you feel like your staying at someone’s cozy home. This place had all of the details and more than I would have even thought of! This place is perfect after spending all day with teenagers at Holiday World! Beds were super comfy! The owner went above and beyond for us!

Most Thoughtful Host Ever

In for ROMP &from the moment we booked, Marla went above and beyond any host we have ever had. She was in contact with us multiple times before our stay and during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed &everything was satisfactory. She made sure we had a high chair& pack and play. She left games and snacks.

Hidden Gem!!

This property was clean, exactly as described, everything you could ever need was there... from a snack basket to laundry detergent. All you need is your suitcase. The host was AMAZING and I couldn't ask for anyone better. She communicated all hours of day and night when we had a question. My son became sick and she helped us choose a doctor to see. She checked on us daily! Im telling you, this is our new go to when we are doing our Holiday World Trips. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels, and the landscsping was even nice! The yard games oug back were a great touch also!! Even the couch pull out bed was comfy!! We will be back!!!
