"Absolutely beautiful restored old mill lovely and clean , comfortable good food and friendly staff .Also the grounds of the hotel were breathtaking so lovely to walk around the lake and see the peacock and ducks would definitely return ."

The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean.
The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can.
I strongly recommend booking a table as from what I could see the place is very popular and you do t want to miss out on trying the food! "
"Conveniently situated only 5 minutes drive from my first appointment of the following day, I got checked in with a warm reception from the staff. I have stayed there twice before so had an idea of what to expect. I had one of the external ground floor rooms which made it easier to go back and forth to the car park. "We stayed for one night en route to a week’s holiday in Cornwall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was a good one. We had reserved a table for our evening meal (along with our dog) and thoroughly enjoyed the food."
"Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host."
"Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay."
