"We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. "We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gettysburg. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained that made our visit enjoyable. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh, hot choices to start the day. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gettysburg."

The location is excellent—it's close to the major Gettysburg attractions and within walking distance of the Gettysburg Outlets, including stores like Adidas, Talbots, Under Armour, and others. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."
