"Starting negative. Management company expected a 5 star rating, if not then to call them. Honesty that caused a one star deduction alone. Honesty works better. Next is the neighborhood. Sketchy given the run down trailer park nearby. Then there is the bed. You need stairs to get up to it. Good lord, trying to get down at night if you have to use the restroom. One small stool, and a broken shelf is not acceptable for adults. Finally, the view and waves sounds are fantastic. ...

"The house was clean and well supplied. It was a great place for us, our 2 kids, and my husband's parents. The views were great and we would have loved to stay longer if this hadn't been just a pit stop on our long drive home.Notes: When we got there it happened to be a rare 90 degree day. The house was very hot on the top 2 floors. There was no AC and the windows were in the direct line of the setting sun; that was not ideal when we had to open the blinds and all of the windows to try to get...

"This was a perfect place for a family get-together on the beach. Most people enjoyed walks, runs, and surf. A couple of die-hards found the wifi sufficient for work. Newport has all the amenities nearby, not to mention the Yaquina Head lighthouse. The state park with its trails and playground was nice to be near. Lovely place!"

"The floor was not swept or mopped. The bed sheets had terrible stains. Sand on the comforter. New sheets were acquired but had to change it all ourselves. Mopped the floor by hand and cleaned the bathroom as well. Refrigerator is very loud. The view is beautiful."
