"Artist cottage was a comfortable well furnished and clean property. It was within walking distance of Harrogate and handy for visiting surrounding area. There is a railway line to rear but it wasn't intrusive. Our only concern was the extremely steep wooden stair to bedrooms and with the bathroom being on the ground floor, this was not ideal. So, I would say not for the older guest or anyone with walking difficulties. "

"Fabulous property right by the village centre with easy access to excellent walking right from the doorstep. The barn is lovely with all mod cons and facilities. There’s ample space to sit and chill both inside and out. The pub is next door and river walks within 2 minutes. Our group of friends loved it."

"We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely property. It is absolutely immaculate and has everything you need and more. Great communication from the host Joseph who was very helpful and just a text or phone call away. The property is within close proximity to the supermarket, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops all being a 5 min walk. A great base to enjoy visiting the local area with a recommended walk up to Heptonstall. It’s quite steep in places but worth it for the great views and exploring...

"Overall it was okay but there is definitely room for improvement. The toilet seat was wobbly, the electric shower was either very hot or very cold but not in between and therefore it was dangerous and we had to use a plastic container from the kitchen to use the bath water. The bath bath couldn’t be used as the drain plug was inefficient and there was no handle to come out of the bath. There was only one tea towel, no coffee or milk, no kitchen paper. The frying pans had huge scratches and...
