Close to everything you might want to do for hiking and excursions but once you're sitting on the deck at the lake you really feel like you've "gotten away". "We rented both the Maine House and the Country House next door for our small wedding weekend! Our family and close friends all had space to stay. The rain held off for us to do our ceremony out on the lawn, and then we went inside for dinner and dancing in the big room. It was perfect. The house has its quirks and it’s definitely a big old summer camp that could use a little maintenance, but it turned out really cute and exactly what we needed. "

"Really thoughtful touches - we played Jenga every night. I had a medical emergency with one of my kids and property manager was available and helpful (thank you!!). Kitchen was well stocked and location is so amazing. It isn’t directly on the lake but walk 300 meters and you are there. We loved hiking Lake Sebago!!!The location is close to restaurants and shops but remote enough you have a “cabin in the woods feel.”10/10 recommend."

"Very casual about check in they live next to the main Office and have kids so may be next door. Just key the radio on counter. We got there early and were given a good fishing place to try out before we came back. The last day we got directions to a local lake that is a short walk down a logging road. Like having a whole valley with a lake in the middle to yourself. We didn’t see a soul the whole time and it’s a good size lake. The description about out being off grid is dead on, 12 bolt lights...

"This house was great for our family of 7 adults, 2 Children & Dog, with plenty of extra space. Kitchen was very spacious, table sat all of us with ample room. They have a big fire pit & Hot Tub that we used every night & a large dock that we fished off. (Fishing was great)! Would def rent again!"
