"Great little cabin on a pretty, quiet pond. My son loved fishing in their rowboat. I loved reading on the porch. It was clean and well taken care of. It’s in a remote area so we brought food and laid low while we were there. Loved hearing the loons and watching the sunset. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you! "

"A lovely stay by a lovely lake, great spot for a casual family get-together. Upstairs is a well furnished air condtioned large studio with a comfortable bed. Best cookware i have ever seen in a rental, practically brand new. Appliances worked great. Well stocked with quality towels, tp, etc. Downstairs is a more rustic area with several beds, no ac, and a half bath..the kids that stayed there loved it. Half bath very convenient as a couple of our day guests have mobility issues and couldn't go...

"The cottage was a perfect place to unwind. It’s a perfect private get away with all the comforts of home. The water is deep and the deck is a great spot to sit and think, fish or enjoy a summer swim. Our family loved it here!"

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the lake and all the amenities that were provided. The cabin was just as described and any question or concern we had was answered promptly. It was the perfect vacation to slow down and make family memories. "

"Absolutely beautiful! Beyond our expectations. Carol and Dan are so hospitable; we felt right at home. The cottage and grounds are well maintained - very clean! At night the stars are the greatest thing you've ever seen. Will be back for sure!"

"We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. "Teresa was a great host and a very responsive communicator. She treated us with respect and was incredibly welcoming to me and my family. She made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Camp Hemlock was condusive for relaxing and enjoying the private and the quiet surroundings. Boyd pond is the perfect size for kayaking and fishing with the family. Overall this is the best location we have stayed in the ADK area. "

The owner was quick to respond to an issue I had and resolved the issue. She has first aid kits, items travelers may forget like, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo... The furniture is comfortable, as is the bed. The kitchen had many appliances, dinnerware, utensils, even utensils for the grill, The huge grill was clean...
