Het Hoogland C is situated on a small farmstead in Ossenisse, right in the heart of the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen polder landscape. Here you can enjoy a peaceful stay, whilst the Westerschelde and the countryside are never far away.



This single-storey holiday home sleeps 4 people and has three bedrooms and one bathroom. A lovely base for a holiday with family or friends.



The Space:

Inside, there is a peaceful and homely atmosphere. The green accents in the interior give it a fresh look and blend in beautifully with the rural surroundings. Thanks to its single-storey layout, the property is comfortably and practically designed to accommodate up to four people.



The house has three bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (two single mattresses) and the other two bedrooms each have a single bed. There is also one bathroom.



On sunny days, it’s lovely to sit outside on the private terrace. Here you’ll find a spacious garden table with chairs and a parasol, so you can enjoy breakfast together, have a leisurely meal or simply relax and reflect on a day out in Zeeland.



Het Hoogland is situated on a working farm where work takes place every day, which means a tractor occasionally drives across the farmyard. You’ll also regularly come across the friendly farm dog, a pony and a flock of sheep. This makes a stay here particularly enjoyable for families and animal lovers.



As the farmyard is in constant use, we ask parents to keep a close eye on their children at all times and not to let them play near the animals unsupervised. As a guest, you are welcome to use the part of the farmyard adjacent to the holiday homes. The other barns, stables and pastures form part of the working farm and are off-limits.



Are you travelling with a baby or young child? You’ll still have a lovely stay here. Please do bear in mind, however, that for the time being we do not provide a camp cot or high chair; you’ll need to bring these with you.



Good to know: there are no TVs in the apartments. Due to the rural location, the Wi-Fi can also be quite unreliable and tends to have a mind of its own. So please consider working Wi-Fi a nice bonus rather than something you can always count on during your stay.



For larger groups, there is also a communal area on the farm. This can be hired separately on request, for example for a family or group gathering.

The Neighborhood:

Ossenisse is a peaceful polder village in the municipality of Hulst, situated on the Westerschelde. Here, vast polders, dykes and the rhythm of the tides define the landscape. From the dyke, you can look out over the water as large seagoing vessels sail towards Antwerp.



Put on your walking shoes or hop on your bike and explore the peaceful surroundings along the Westerschelde. Nature lovers will be in their element in the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe, where excursions are organised regularly. For cosy outdoor cafés, shops and the historic ramparts, you can be in Hulst within a quarter of an hour. Terneuzen is also just a short drive away.



Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of the Zeeland countryside, whilst beautiful nature reserves and charming towns are always close by.You’re on the Westdijk in Ossenisse, in the municipality of Hulst. Here, polders, dikes and the tide of the Westerschelde set the scene. Along the water you walk and cycle on the dike while large ships pass by. Birdwatch on the salt marshes around Ossenisse or join an excursion in the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe. For a day in town, explore the fortifications of Hulst, about 15 km away. Perkpolder with the ferry harbor is also close; from the dike you have wide views over the estuary. Choose the small back roads towards Kloosterzande and Walsoorden and make a loop past the villages of the eastern Westerschelde.
