We stayed for three nights for an anniversary getaway and couldnā€™t be happier. The cabin was clean and cozy and the view was unbeatable. We spent a lot of time in the cabin reading and it was perfectly comfortable for the two of us. We loved the solitude of the off-season but are hoping to come back sometime in the summerā€”and to bring the kids, who would absolutely love this deck and this beach. This isnā€™t a super high-end accommodation, so expect some quirks (small shower, slow-draining sink, that sort of thing). These are all things I expect of a beach house, though, and didnā€™t detract from our stay at all. One word of warning: if youā€™re hoping to sleep in, donā€™t think you can just ā€œsneak a peekā€ at the sunrise and go back to sleep. This is the sort of beauty that demands you wake up and admire it!

This is our third summer, and it gets better every year! As always, the cabin is very clean. They make improvements to the property every year. The beach is perfect. We look forward to our week there every year!

Thanks you, Tim and Nancy, my husband and I were so pleased with our cabin 10 accommodations! Even though the weather was cool, windy and at times, rainy, we enjoyed every minute. Iā€™ve never spent time on Lake Huron, always on Lake Michigan, I was so impressed! The area is is fabulous and has a lot to offer.

We stayed in a cabin with a deck this year. It was great! The cleanliness of these cabins surprises me, given that they are literally on the beach. We had a great time during out second summer, and look forward to next year!

We booked this 4 day staycation for my youngest's birthday, so it was my Husband, two kids (9yr & 7yr), and myself. I'm so grateful to the owners tips with the driving directions, as we did in fact pass the cabins and turned back around. The lot isn't huge, but we still found a spot easily, and the walk to our cabin (we stayed in cabin #10 with the deck, definitely recommend the deck!) was short and quick. The cabin itself does have some wear and tear, a bit of siding damage, outdated electrical, small plumbing and floor issues...but IT'S A WATERFRONT BEACH HOUSE! Of course there's wear and tear. I found the staff did a great job at keeping things clean. The cabin is very cozy, I think 4 people may have been it's limit, and I got a good laugh squeezing into the small standing shower (for reference I'm only 5'5" tall, and I bumped my elbows, also my yoga came in very handy when attempting to shave lol). But it has great hot water. My kids came in for a quick shower after every swim session, and we never once ran out. The view here is absolutely incredible, honestly breath taking. So who cares if the cabin is on the smaller side, you should honestly be outside enjoying the beauty of this private beach. Visitors were in other nearby cabins, but everyone was respectful and kind. There was a small, open, central storage area with beach toys and chairs to share. I could go on and on about this cabin, but recommend you check it out yourself instead, I promise you won't regret it.

The cabin was decently sized and had a cozy feel. The stove, fridge, microwave and cookware was great to have so we could spend more time at the beach instead of going out for food. The deck was awesome and was well built. It would have been nice to have a spot to put an umbrella on the deck for shade. The two day stay was a bit pricey but it was a great vacation spot for a family. With the beach and deck right there it was the most perfect setup I could have asked for.

Let me start out by saying the location and beach were absolutely perfect. Easy access to two cute towns, and being right on the beach was beautiful. The deck was awesome, and we spent a lot of time out there listening to the waves. However, the inside of the cabin needs a lot of work. Thereā€™s two sets of blinds in the kitchen, both very filthy & one was actually burnt in one area. The coffee pot was being held together by masking tape & we ended up purchasing one and leaving it for future guests. The sheets in one of the rooms had mildew all along the bottom of it, which was only found upon leaving and checking to make sure we had all my childā€™s things out of the bed. The biggest issue, though, was the floor in the bathroom. It was separating near the shower & extremely soft. It felt like we could fall through at any point. From speaking with another guest, we learned the owners are newer and in the process of trying to fix up the property. I completely get that, but maybe the cabins needing this much work shouldnā€™t be rented out until major issues are fixed. Especially when they are willingly renting it out to families with small children or older (60+) people. I also spoke with a couple that was in a cabin next to us that said when they got there, the cabin wasnā€™t clean & smelled of mildew. Butter splattered all over the stove from the last people that were in it & pieces of food left in the fridge. Will definitely be back to the area, but probably not this resort.

Canā€™t beat the location right on Lake Huron and easy drive to Oscoda and Tawas. Met Nancy, one of the proprietors, and talked about their improvements they are making to the place and updating. Was very interested in my honest suggestions for making it a better 5 star stay. Cabin was well stocked with cooking and settings for the 6 max allowed guests. Plenty of games provided and even a couple of kayaks for free use. Wi-Fi was great at 2 or 5g speed. Would highly recommend the resort.

The place was nice. In a Good location. The water and sunrises were beautiful. Very cold and windy while there. We had internet for the first night. It did not work after that. They were sending someone out to restore it. We ended up leaving a day early.

We had a wonderful long weekend. We swam , sunbathed, cooked out, made smores, read books, played card games, and listened to the waves. The location and the the cabin were perfect to just get away for our family. Also, it was nice to meet Tim, the owner, who was a great host to all of the lodgers. I will be planning a longer stay next year.
