"As my wife put it, this place was a perfect mix of things she likes (especially a dark bedroom) and I like (especially the skylight bedroom). Beyond the bedrooms we both enjoyed the spacious common areas, the rooftop patio, the hot tub, everything was perfect. Also appreciated an early check-in when some of our activities that day were cut short by the air quality! Hope to stay again when we're back in the area. "

"Kitchen had everything we needed. No A/C but ample number of fans that worked great during the cool nights. Great yard with plenty of space and shade. Good central location to get to stores, restaurants, tourist spots. "

"We visited my son a few miles away from the condo, so it was perfect! Went to lake superior and hung out had great food at local restaurants! We also visited some other sites on our way there and back, so we know our great granddaughters had a great time!!"

"Place was clean and comfortable. we were a group of 4 couples. Was quiet when we were there. Would stay here again. Host was very friendly and helpful. "

"We enjoyed our stay and had a great time as a family. It's an easy drive to Ironwood- a Ben Franklin store! And a cute downtown. We hiked at Copper Falls and explored Ashland. Great trip. "

"Beautiful house on the cleanest lake I’ve ever seen. Very private. Tammy is very responsive and the house has everything you could need. There are a lot of stairs to the lake which could be an issue if you aren’t very mobile. "

"We had an amazing week, definitely one of our favorite adventures! The cabin is very neat, clean and has everything you need for a week away. The property surrounding the cabin is absolutely beautiful, it’s so quiet and peaceful. The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring waterfalls, Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains. Charlie is quick to respond to questions and he goes above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need. We will definitely be back for another week soon! "

"The house was incredibly clean and we were able to just walk straight in and get settled which was terrific after a very long drive. The kitchen had all the basics and even an assortment of spices and other staples which isn't always the case. The aesthetic was relaxing and well done without feeling cluttered or like we had to worry about the kids knocking something over. Check-out was as easy as check-in; nothing complicated. "Overall stay was nice and conveniently located super close to swimming in Lake Superior and a lot of hiking trails. Only suggestion for improvement I had was maybe making it super clear in listing that this is a split unit with an upstairs unit and downstairs. So if looking for something more secluded then maybe look elsewhere. But the other side to that is this being the perfect place for 2 families/friend groups to book at the same time as there is a staircase that conveniently leads to both...

"A large group of us rented the Davos Chalet for a long weekend. There was more than enough room for us all. The common area was great for us to eat meals and hang out. The kids loved the game room in the basement. "

"After a full day of hiking we enjoyed relaxing in the very comfortable living room. The cottage was extremely clean and the bedrooms comfortable. Kitchen accommodations were perfect. "

"Everything about the house was great. Stayed 2 nights for an Archery shoot up the road and enjoyed those 2 nights. If you are taller watch your head in the shower. Nice open floor plan on the main floor with 4 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd floor. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch with the cool air. I would highly recommend this House and Host and will be booking again if we come back. 5 Stars!!"

"Beautiful property! Was nicely tucked back in a secluded area with a beautiful yard. It had a nice firepit and chairs and even stocked with wood for fires. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also convenient. The sauna looked interesting too we were just a little too busy to use it. Kitchen was stocked and convenient. We enjoyed the Norwegian spruce in the front yard also would recommend!"
