"We stayed over memorial day weekend and had a great time. There were 4 of us and a dog, yet there was plenty of space to spare. The back porch backs directly up into the woods, and I kept trying to catch glimpse of sasquatch to no avail. The home had abundant towels and blankets, which was a nice thing to not worry about especially when swimming at the lake and having to shower multiple times. Do beware of the GPS, which tries to take you to an adjacent property. There are signs posted telling...

"The cabin was nice and very clean. It has an awesome big screen porch. A nice quiet place to go to get away."

"Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues."

For the eclipse, we lucked out and got great weather to take in the once in a lifetime event with total privacy. "We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. For us, it was perfect. We were only in the area for a short visit. The cabin had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again. The area was quiet and we even had a couple deer come within 20 feet while we were on the front porch. We did as much as we could in the area for a short stay. We even went to the French Lick area casino and west Bayden hotel. Very cool stuff. Thanks for having us and we can't wait to return."

"Pros: The land surrounding this cabin is beautiful and secluded. No cell service and very weak wifi, which is what we were looking for. It was a good size for our family of 4. The cabin itself is very old and really neat. Feels like a piece of history. The small kitchen is stocked with the very basics, missing a few items we needed such as can opener and wine opener. The host was quick to make sure we had access to those. Cons: This cabin is rustic, more rustic than we had anticipated....

"What a delight to stay in this property in French Lick, Indiana! I booked a villa in order to invite family from across the nation to join me to view the Total Eclipse event. The facility was perfect for my needs and wants. I loved the roominess, the two balconies, the ample table/dining space, full kitchen, comfortable beds. Even a huge jacuzzi tub and dry sauna! I loved the location as it was quiet, and we were able to walk to all events. Once I parked my Jeep, I didn't start it again...
