Welcome to our furnished 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo at Vista Cay at Harbor Square. Ideally situated in Orlando, Florida you will find all the amenities you could want at this one of a kind resort.

Our condo has been furnished to the highest standards to meet the needs of any traveler. It's location is close to the community clubhouse for maximum enjoyment.

3 bedroom 2 bath Executive Condo at Vista Cay - Master bedroom has King size bed with flat screen TV - Guest Room 1 has Queen size bed with flat screen TV - Guest Room 2 has 2 twin beds with flat screen TV - Living room has sleeper sofa with flat screen TV and DVD player - Free wireless high speed internet

We kindly remind you that this is a self catering vacation rental. You'll be provided with some starter dishwasher tabs, hand soaps, toilet paper and trash bags. Any additional consumable items such as the items just mentioned, shampoos, laundry detergent, paper towels, trash bags, etc. are the guests responsibility. Feel free to contact us if you have additional questions about these items.The minimum booking age of the lead party must be atleast 25 yrs old. We also do require all loose trash be bagged and placed in the bin for collection prior to departure.

This property is located in a deed restricted community. All community rules, bylaws and regulations must be abided by.

Enjoyed our STAY at VISTA CAY

My wife and I enjoyed our stay with my father in law here at vista cay. We had a work conference to attend at the Rosen Shingle Creek which was a 3 min drive from here. The location of the condo was great. We ate breakfast at “the Diner” which was right down the road and had a excellent omelet and Benedict. The condo had plenty of room for all of us. Good Cable Stations and Internet. Right next to the pool and workout facility. Not to mention a 1.5 mile walking trail around the attached pond. Great for a morning walk or run to stay active. It’s a gated community that is fairly large. I would recommend slightly better directions on how to get to the actual building that unit 205 is in. All in all 5 starts from me.

The property was clean, very convenient to the conference center. The only complaint was the temperature restrictions for the thermostat in the condo. It was set at 60 for heat and 76 for ac with note next to the thermostat saying not to touch the settings or there would be a fine. It was in the 30’s and got quite cold during our stay and when it was warmer, it never got warm enough for the ac to turn on, so it was really stuffy. I think a temp range would have been more reasonable. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Good property

Overall we thought the condo was what we expected it to be. It was more affordable than the hotel and gave us space for our family. It was close to the parks and we felt secure in it. It is most definitely used as a rental frequently so there is wear and tear that can only be expected with this. That being said, everything was in working order and exactly what we needed for our stay. We were happy with our overall stay. I only have 2 items that prevented a 5 star review. #1 Cleanliness- While surfaces like counters and showers were clean, there was a lot of dust and areas that could use sprucing up (like the throw pillows). We also had some dish ware we had to rewash as previous renters did not clean them throughly. I am sure this is something that difficult to keep up with when there are renters using it. #2 The pool (This is not something I believe the owner has control over but maybe can work with the management on as it affects their guest’s stay) We were excited to use the pool, however we were disappointed by it. We and many in our large group (Staying in multiple condos on site) were pulling out clumps of hair constantly from the pool. It was rather gross and we refrained from swimming at one point until they cleaned the pool. It seemed to help for a day or so, but eventually that same issue occurred again 1 day or so after the cleaning.

Good

Our stay was Good, the resort itself had a very nice pool area/family game room and outdoor space. We were a little taken back when we arrived at the condo itself. It is in some need of updates with scuffed up walls and cabinets. The cable did not work for the first few days, but staff resolved the issue. Our smoke detector was chirping, also resolved. Was recommend to put linen in wash and run it upon departure. Luckily, I brought laundry soap, because it's not provided (You're welcome!) Overall the experience suited out needs and we will definitely refer family and friends, and hopefully return as well.

Very nice unit and resort.

The accomodations were very spacious, modern and clean. The location with lake and trail was very nice. Club house facilities and pool area were very nice. Only negative comment would be about being able to hear people walking around in unit above.

Great family rental

We had a great time in Orlando and were overall pleased with the property. Pros: Location...very close to major parks and highways, Publix and restaurants. Property Amenities...nice pool and well taken care of grounds Condo...spacious, well equipped kitchen (we did a small amount of cooking), quiet, TVs in every room, adequate supply of towels, washer and dryer, free WiFi, extra bedding Cons: Condo...only 2 dishwasher pods (but dish soap was available to hand wash), only 3 garbage bags, small hotel bars for hand soap, no laundry detergent, but ‘appreciated you washing your towels before leaving’, 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper in each of the 2 bathrooms and the thermostat was requested to stay at 76 degrees (much too warm for our liking) All of the cons would have been much nicer to know prior to arrival. I would have either packed those items or made a list to quickly purchase at Publix at arrival. Discovering it as we went was a bummer, but I would still definitely recommend this rental property, especially with knowing these things for next time. We’re new to rentals so maybe it’s us.

Lovely place to relax!

We had a great time staying here! It was conveniently located for us to get to Universal Studios in about 10-15 minutes and Disney in 20 minutes. My husband and I (from PA) along with our daughter and grandson (from CA) found this place ideal. In addition to convenient location we enjoyed some time at the condo just hanging out having family time. We enjoyed taking a walk along the walking trail out back. We wish the weather was warmer and we sure would of had some swimming time in the beautiful pool. The complex was clean and inviting, and everybody was friendly. Shopping area very near and stores within walking distance.

Nice condo but had some issues

The condo itself is beautiful. Vista Cay is a beautiful complex and the pool was amazing. It was very close to Universal and not too far from Disney. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked great. However there were some major downsides that made me give it 3 stars. First of all we had a very hard time finding the condo within the complex. Upon arrival I wasn't sure where to go and had to call to get directions. The woman who answered wasn't sure either and had to put me on hold to look it up. Once we found our way, the codes worked great and we were able to get in with no problem until we were assaulted with a wall of humid heat within the condo. We then learned thst you are unable to adjust the temperature within the condo(unless you wanted to be charged extra and we had no idea how much they would've charged) and it was HOT and humid. It was cooler outside and you were unable to open the windows. Needless to say since it was so humid inside my allergies were aggravated and I coughed the whole time. Luckily we were there in November and not August. I can't even imagine being there in the heat of August. Our second issue was with the Wifi. We couldn't get it to work. My sister finally found that the Wifi box was on the floor behind the bedside table. Before finding this I had emailed the management company but got no response. Overall it was a nice stay and I would stay at Vista Cay again but not in this condo.

Nice community, great location

My family of 5 stayed her the week of June 12th. We spent a couple of days at Universal, SeaWorld, Wet N Wild, and then a day at Kennedy Space Center. Pros: very close proximity to all the area attractions, gated community, pool and spa and fitness facility if you like and free wifi. There were plenty of towels, but only 4 washcloths, but the owners took care of that promptly when I called so they were very accommodating. It was a very clean unit and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short drive to the space center and my family enjoyed that. Very close to Walgreens and Publix as well as a Chinese restaurant, NYPD pizza, and a Dunkin Donuts. Cons: this particular unit's kitchen is not stocked well! There were only a few glasses and for my family of 5 there wasn't enough. They did have coffee mugs. There were a couple of pots and pans but thank goodness I had not planned to cook big meals as there was not a lot of choices as far as pots/pans/bowls/skillets and such. Spaghetti was a good choice and tacos but baking anything was a no go. There also was no ice maker In the fridge, or if there was, there were no instructions on how to work it. There was also a slight smell to the room which was probably the carpet mixed with a humid environment. If the kitchen had more equipment it would have been perfect!
