Overall good property, just a few issues

The house is great for a large family and nicely decorated with themed areas. The on-site maintenance was quick to come when pool turned cloudy and green. There were a few things that could be improved. We were not able to get into the house as stated because the cleaners were still there. Had to wait an hour with groceries in the car. Floors were not clean. our feet were black and swept up 9 dustpans of dirt. They only had 6 washcloths and 1 hand towel for 23 people. They did finally bring more washcloths, but never any hand towels. There are no cookie sheets. There are 2 frying pans in poor condition. There were many lights out in different fixtures in the house, some open sockets. They only left partially used toilet paper rolls in all bathrooms, no new rolls. No toilet paper holder in bathroom on 1st floor. Hopefully these are issues that could be remedied.

Nice house

House was amazing. We loved it and the grandkids loved it. Just take washcloths and a dish rag with you. Only tiny complaint I have is someone came to clean pool and kicked us out of pool for 2-3 hours. We only had a couple days to hang out at the house and swim and one of those days is when they came to clean. Wish I knew ahead of time to make our plans around it.

Perfect vacation rental!!!

The house was clean, the host was easy to get ahold of before during and after our trip!! Everything worked as it should have. The gated community was awesome. It is ideally located to get to attractions easily. Will definitely be booking with them Again in the future.

Good time

The place was beautiful but it needed a lot of repairs. In one of the bedrooms upstairs there was a electric socket hanging out of the wall and I had my grandchildren with us. The cleaning people were still there when we arrived which worked out because we would of had to wait for a new door code. The code we had didn’t work

Nice, but not sure if we would stay again.

We stayed 7 days. We were a family of 22, and we had more than enough room. We actually didn’t need to use one of the bedrooms. The house does look like the pictures, however there were things that were broken. One of the living room chairs, ottoman, one side of the glass top table is missing , toilet paper holders were hanging on by a thread, and a few other things. I wasn’t happy with the cleanliness of the house. We found things left behind by previous renters, there was a dead roach under the kitchen sink, and small spots and stains throughout the home. Nothing too major,, but if the home had been properly cleaned, those things would not have been there. We didn’t feel like the house was disinfected. The cookware could have been better and bigger. The trash can outside was full with garbage from the previous renter. We had trash accumulating quickly with our family size, and had no idea what to do with all. You should definitely bring your own wash cloths and towels, soap and shampoo as well. The grill is very small. We didn’t bother to use it. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning was great until the last 2 days when it just didn’t seem to be as cool. There’s a camera in the living room,, which I guess I understand,,, but that just felt weird. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s something else.. I hope I’m wrong. Overall we enjoyed the house and the time we spent together. We will probably try a different property in February when we return. We try to make the best out of any situation, so we didn’t complain. Besides we had enough to deal with having so many ppl under one roof lol! To sum it up, we would give 2- 3 out of 5 stars Hope this helps someone!

It was a very nice place. Wow!! Didn’t want to leave!!

This was a amazing place to stay. My family and I really felt welcome from the time we booked our stay, and throughout our stay. We enjoyed all the amenities that the house provides. The pool was our favorite place, a lot of great family time and great conversations were had pool side. All in all 10 out of 10, we would love to stay here again for our next visit to Florida.

The house was amazing but the AC in the bottom floor was out due to a fan being broke but was fixed in a day. There are lots of guests that were there to party but still a great stay.

Home was great but had some neighborhood issues

!st of all I hesitated giving this review because I did not want to be unfair to the owners, who did not cause nor could have foreseen some of our experiences. I want to begin by saying the property was perfect for our family. Spacious and amenities were great. The location was a bit further away from attractions than we would have preferred but given the trade off between what the property provided versus the longer travel it was acceptable. Not the neighborhood etc. First of all we the scanner to get into the community was apparently not working right and we had to contact someone and show an ID each time any of us tried to enter. This was a bummer and quite irritating. The street where the property is located was VERY busy day and night and into the wee hours. A lot of traffic up and down the street, a lot of people outside in front of the homes, a lot of noise. Again this may well have been just an anomaly for the week we were there. We smelt marijuana in the air frequently while outside, front & back. Someone was shooting off fireworks across the street from us at midnight one evening. Big booming rockets. Lot of people cheering on the street. I am sure this was fun for some people but most of us were in bed from the long day and early rising the next day. On our last evening as we were going to bed around 11, there was a tremendous bang on our front door. Like someone throwing a bowling ball at it. My daughter saw the door move in and out. She yelled out someone was trying to kick in our door. We called the police. They responded within 5 minutes or so. They told us they had some other reports of similar incidents in that neighborhood that night. They mentioned interviewing some individuals that may have caused it. We still dont know if they were trying to break in or what. All our cars were in the driveway so they knew we were home. This scared everyone pretty badly. Since we were leaving the next day we did not take any further action I advised the owners to install dead bolts and perhaps a door camera to instill more confidence in our safety as well as get a police report. Again, this neighborhood experience could well have been just a very bad combination of vacationers and circumstances which may never come together again and our home owner could not have known or anticiapted

Family Vacation

The house looked just like the photos. The neighborhood was over crowded. We arrived at the location 10 minutes before check-in expecting to waite till 4pm. When we arrived the cleaning people just arrived as well. They were rude and told us to come back in 1 hour, then we showed up after an hour and they told us we can't go in till 40 min. Finally we were let in they told us to finish washing the towels. Some beds had sand on them under the bed sheets. We then requested to have a grill in February when we first booked the home and I reminded the owners a week prior about a grill and I was okay with paying additional fee for the whole stay. When we got to home no grill I message the owner NO REPLY! I message the vacation rental company and gave me the run around and made me call a rental company to rent grills from that took two additional day to bring me the equipment. The owners still never responded a week later about the issue. Beautiful home but difficult people to communicate with. Poor instruction about garbage *Needs to be updated*. Will stay again if owners were organize!

Disney Trips

The house was cleaned and spaces for our group of 20. The neigborhood had a lot of traffic and outside visitors. I had to ask the guest next door to quiet down after midnight and others guest having parties which brought extra people who parked in driveway. Owners change property mangers during our stay, but our request were answered.

Amazing place for a big family

Great house only 30 minutes from universal studios. This house was comfortable for my large family of 20. We love that most of the rooms have a bathroom. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool table and hockey table. The pool was also very nice.

Disney vacation

Great proximity to all disney parks. Great 9 bedroom 6 bathroom home. It was great for our first family trip. Frank answered all our questions and Jeeves helped us with the few requests we had. Gated entry was in the process of renovation, so it caused slight delays in entering the property. Overall, a great place to VRBO.

Wonderful vacation home for a large family!

We greatly enjoyed our week residing in this amazing home. The 9 bedrooms were perfect for our large family and the entertainment area on the upper level was perfect for our teenagers & young adults! We also enjoyed the large lanai, lighted pool & hot tub each evening. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had and we are looking forward to our next stay here.

Very Large House

We really enjoyed staying at this house for a week. This is a very spacious home, with a great layout. Plenty of stuff for everyone todo here. The pool and hot tub area is excellent. Great house for large families. My only negatives on this house are that it was definitely a "used-rental house" -- lots of minor broken things (sink dripping costantly, paintings broken, screws laying around, air hockey table was falling apart, pool table felt is damaged to the point you can't really play a real game, the screen netting around the pool is broken/torn, etc) and that this house was supposed to have a high chair according to the listing, which it did not have. With a little TLC to the house I would definitely give 5 stars. The resort was so crowded that we only visited two short times during our trip. Too many people there. We did go during spring break -- it may not normally be as crowded. Our check in process was fine. We arrived about 5-6pm and was checked in within about 5 minutes.

Beautiful house with great floor plan but lots of wear

The house had a wonderful layout with quality furnishings. Very impressed with how sound proof the house where you could sleep in a bedroom without the noise from other parts of the house keeping you up. Cleaning people missed the hair in one bathroom and the trash not bagged in the dumpster that management would not pick up, so we had to bag others trash to get it picked up. But other than that, the house was very clean and ready for us. Much of the house showed a considerable amount of wear due to the number of families that have been renting over time. Light bulbs out, broken knobs, patio screen torn, missing blinds, missing glass top on dining table, loose arm on chair, hockey table only has 2 bolts holding it together, paintings knocked off so many times they had trouble staying up on the scuffed up walls. Nothing wrong that could not be lived with for an enjoyable vacation, just a long list of items where simple maintenance could resolve. Surrounding houses had so many cars in the street, it made it tricky to get in and out so I understand the need to keep all cars in the garage and driveway and not block the sidewalk. It was a nice stay but for the amount of money we paid, it was disappointing the level of care given to keep the property up to the beauty of how it was when it was first built because it really is a nice place to stay.

Would definitely return

This place was perfect for our big family trip! There were some minor cosmetic issues that need to be fixed (broken blinds, air hockey table felt like the legs could break any minute, fridge water was temperamental, and a few other things), but we enjoyed our stay regardless of those minor issues. The pool was perfect for the kids and the back patio area was a favorite of ours. My one major complaint is the check in process. We sat for two hours waiting to get checked in, there has to be a better way. Overall we had a blast and would return to the house if we ever go back to Florida!

Now Family Vacation

We were very impressed with the size of the house and all of the open space. Lots of room to eat, sleep, cook and enjoy the outdoor pool and protected area. A few things did not work, but overall communication was fine and we really loved the place!

Thanksgiving visit!

The property was GREAT!!!! It was everything we expected and more. The check in process was horrible, it took us two hours just to get checked in. The security at the gate had a very nasty attitude and made us wait another 30 minutes to get back on the property, we had to make a grocery store run.

Terrible Experience

First let me start by saying the resort home was absolutely beautiful. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I’m very honest in my reviews. I really don’t ask for much however I would never recommend anyone to stay here unless they resolve issues that are in that home. Let’s start with the many roaches we had to kill once we turned the stove on. I addressed the situation with the owner who referred me back to his rental team. They want it to come in and spray the roaches. Applying a gel or some sort of spray only further bring the roaches out. I told them they could do that once we left. Secondly there was a musty smell in the house he try to locate it and realize it was the carpet. My sister-in-law and myself used Benadryl the whole stay because the carpet was filthy and made us sick. Prior to staying at the house I requested and paid for an additional day but once having this terrible experience I contacted the owner and told him that we would be leaving the day before and I would like a refund. I have not heard from him I did not receive an apology for my experience or anything. I will say that the management team did go beyond and above to accommodate us in this horrific situation but the owner not so much. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this property until these issues are resolved. The blinds in the patio area are all broken the refrigerator doors broken and other minor issues need to be fixed. It was not a good experience and I am just so disappointed
