The only reason we gave it a 3/5 is because we chose this home because of the two bedrooms downstairs since we had guests that could not walk up stairs due to health issues. When we arrived the second bedroom downstairs was taped up with both doors leading to room barricaded. The window to said bedroom on the outside of the home was lifted with only the screen showing. We felt that was safety violation there. Anyone could have walked in on us. After trying to contact the host by calling, the phone number listed. The number was out of service. I then went into the vrbo app and tried reaching out there. They did respond stating the room was sealed off for our protection and it could not be used. Our complaint was why weren't we inform days or hours before our arrival? Again, I have some guests that could not go upstairs and this left us one bedroom and bath downstairs. It was disappointing to say the least. The hosts seemed to just say, "thanks for understanding". I asked for a percentage of a refund and they stated this could be possible after our checkout. Well, we left the home probably cleaner than it was when we arrived. So I am hoping to hear something concerning a partial refund soon.
