La Maison Blanche by Disney

Have a family fun Disney vacation in this new chic house. With a princess bed and a spiderman room the kids will be as comfortable as the adults. Gourmet kitchen with gas cooktop, large refrigerator and all the utensils you need to create amazing meals. Large dining table, 2 family rooms and a ping pong table. Large covered pool with outside bathroom, tv and large outdoor table. This Creole style house has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 2 quarter baths. Upper Family room has a sofa couch. Please note we have an unheated pool and no hot tub. There is a neighborhood pool and hot tub.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I have to. The house is nice, but it's in bad shape, very dirty. Inside, we found trash under the sofas, under the stove, and the refrigerator. The front doors were filthy, and the outside was also dirty, including inside the garage and the pool. Almost everything is in bad condition. The water doesn't drain properly in some sinks; it just stagnates.The photos from when we rented it made everything look nice. My wife had to do some cleaning. We paid for insurance, and there was a lot of damage. To this day, they haven't responded to our messages.

Host was pretty responsive. The management company was a bit late providing contqct info but was nice and apologetic and jumped right on a heating issue with the house. House was top tier in places weve stayed in cleanliness. The one thing that was a bit of an issue for us and people should know is there are no locks on any doors on the inside. I dont understand this. I know a lot of hotels are also not putting locks on their bathrooms too. I bought some doorstops amd left them in the house to help address this issue though. The pools in reunion are all heated from what i was told by a resident except the one with the splashpad and slide. So lacking heat in the house pool wasnt a big deal for us.

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect and close to the Disney parks, but far enough away that we weren’t in a crowded area. We cooked Thanksgiving there and they had everything we needed! I would definitely stay there again.

Kitchen was well stocked. Unheated pool was a disappointment. Air temp was in the high 80s low 90s but pool was too cold to use. House could use a thorough cleaning.

The photos are accurate, but when you get to the house, it’s a different story. There are tiny ants all over the kitchen counter area. We purchased and put out ant traps, helped a bit. The sheets from the previous guests were Not changed. Disgusting soiled bedding and to our Horror - we saw body fluids, dark suspect stains, and hairs. (See photos). My kids and grandkids came in late evening 10pm hoping to sleep and get out to Disney early. But had to stay up til 1:30am doing laundry. That’s another horror, the dryer flue was broken and disconnected. My son smelled strong strong fumes and saw this (see photo). As if the above wasn’t bad enough, we pointed out to the owner that she might have mold in the HVAC system. Advised that she should clear up before renting to next guests - no reply. Silence. And when I forwarded her the photos to reasonably request some kind of rebate - her words “ does not justify “. There were other smaller issues: cloudy pool, bracket support for legs on ping pong table broken, stains on sofas, bed with metal frame wobbly and creaking to the point my daughter every time she or her husband moved in bed. Ants in bathroom and kids rooms. I was very reasonable in asking for some kind of rebate and owner denied responsibility, said no. So don’t let yourself be in my position, rent another place - might cost a little more but I’m sure it won’t come with these headaches.

The house was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of little things that really weren’t that big of a deal to us. Overall, it served its purpose, and we had a great vacation.

Heed ALL Reviews/TLC would go a long way…

Community is wonderful! Felt safe.The previous reviews say everything you need to know. This seems to be a profit turning place only. Items mentioned in those reviews were still apparent during our stay - broken fixtures, VERY FEW towels of any kind, towels that we did have had stains (some red like blood??). We purchased our own towels to be safe & make sure all had enough. The kitchen, while stocked, the stock could be updated. There were NO hot pads at all. The dishwasher did not clean dishes very well. The stove/oven was a royal pain to use. Ghost ants EVERYWHERE. No packaged food could be left on the counter or it was filled with these ants. Light switches were plentiful, we never did figure out what switch worked where - remotes for lights & fans didn’t work. Outside lights & fan didn’t work (under porch). The garage door opener did not work at all.Overall, this house served our purpose for 2 weeks. I won’t be staying here again, but it wasn’t a total waste either. To each their own.

Family retreat

The house was spacious and well stocked. We enjoyed the large kitchen, pool, and grill. It was close to Disney and yet out of the theme park madness.

Be aware of issues and reviews

Home was beautiful but unequipped for guest. Our biggest complaint was the AC. The temperature would not fall below 74 degrees which made it very uncomfortable to sleep at night. The AC even stopped working 1 night and the property manager said she would call out a tech in the morning which never showed, thankfully the property manager and maintanence person got it working again, still temp wouldn't fall below 74 degrees. No sponge to wash dishes, no broom to sweep, not enough linens for beds and pillows, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom with no extras, especially for large party. Trash bins were full upon checkin so there was no where to throw trash except in the garage, Garage door didn't work, Broken handles on sliding glass doors, freezer doesn't make ice, stove burners would have to be worked to stay on. we lifted the cushions on the sofas and there were crumbs and dirt under cushions. Long story short poor cleanliness and AC is not working properly. Host was rude and unprofessional, I would look elsewhere !

Good family vacation!

Like other reviews, this home could use a fix up. No pool heat even if you wanted it, both sliding doors have broken handles, broken toilet roll hanger. No ice maker, one of the gas burners will not stay lit. No hand towels... we bought them. One queen bedroom had no control over fan and light. All that being said there was lots of room to move about and beds and furniture was quite comfortable.

Nice House

Nice house. Plenty of room for our group. I do think the heater needs to be checked. It wouldn't come on and it was chilly during our stay. We contacted the management company and there was confusion as someone else had reported a problem with their pool heater. We had several people come check the pool but no one came to check the central heat. Also part of the Keurig was missing so we couldn't make coffee. But overall a nice home close to WDW.

Not a great value

The house had space for all our guests, which was nice, but it fell short in a lot of ways.We only searched for rental properties that had hot tubs. We were celebrating a special occasion for a family member who loves hot tubs, but upon arrival found it not working. The emergency contact told me it hasn't worked for two years and that the owner should have told me. The owner never communicated to me at any time. This was a massive let down. We were then told we would receive a key for the community pool. We didn't receive it until late the next night so we were unable to use it the first two nights of our stay.Beyond this, the basics of the property were lacking. My sheets had bleach stains all over. The kitchen isn't super well stocked if you need to cook for a big group- more like the kind of stuff you'd have in a college apartment. They did not provide enough dishwasher tabs or trash bags for us to clean up each night. We could only do the dishes twice despite cooking for a group for four days. The contacts were also not super professional. The check-in time is very late, but they still asked us to check in over an hour later than the time we paid for because they still weren't done cleaning. They told us they would give us the pool key in the morning and text us before they were coming, but this did not happen. They also told me that they left dirty laundry and that it'd be picked up the next day. The trash and laundry from the last group was still there.

Honest Warning Review

The house we rented for our week-long Disney World vacation in Orlando felt like it was flipped quickly to make a profit, with minimal effort put into remodeling outside of the downstairs living room and kitchen. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations:•Basic essentials were barely provided—only minimal paper towels and dish detergent.•Hand towels upstairs were stained, and the bathroom floors were dirty.•No mention was made about heating issues, but the house relied on inefficient mini heaters in each room.•There were hardly any pillows or blankets, and it took about 5 minutes for water to heat up.•Upon arrival, the pool and hot tub were not heated as advertised. Jets on hot tub don’t work & neither were cleaned all week. •The “many toys” listed in the description turned out to be just two small castles and some costumes. •Bath towels were not properly cleaned and still had hair on them.•Pincher bugs were found in the bathtub.•The grill was unusable—the propane tank provided was empty, and even after replacing it, the valve on the new tank couldn’t be turned.•No oven mitts were provided in the kitchen.Overall, the lack of cleanliness, amenities, and care made this rental fall well below expectations, especially for a vacation so close to Disney World.

Spacious and Stylish Holiday Home in a Prime Florida Location

We had an enjoyable stay at this lovely, spacious house in a fantastic area. The home is beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds—a rare and much-appreciated find! The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are stylish and well-maintained, offering a touch of luxury. While there were a few minor details that need repair, such as the spa jets not working and the pool not being heated, these didn’t detract too much from our overall experience. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. We’ll definitely be back!

Clean, with comfortable beds

Lovely home with a fantastic kitchen. The bedrooms were very nice, and the beds were comfortable. Make sure you bring your own amenities such as Toilet Paper and hand soap etc. as they are not provided. The Hot tub was not functional when we stayed there, so I am unable to review my thoughts on that. Plenty of Towels, unfortunately, most of them were still in the washer and dryer when we got there.

Accommodating but needs work

Started with not being able to get into house at check in because apparently the guest prior had a big party and the property managers cleaning was running behind. When we finally got in we received a text that one of the main bathrooms was out of order due to previous guest. Also there were ants in kitchen that was also blamed on previous guest but there was “conveniently” ant spray under the kitchen sink. The gate door did not lock which was a bit unsafe when you leave the property. All in all it was an accommodating space and did not ruin our trip but it definitely needs work
