The house was large enough to accommodate our big family. The pool and hot tub were excellent, plenty warm and spacious. The only problematic thing was the oven that didn't heat well at the nominal temperatures. The parking was considerably better than in other houses we have rented in Solterra--the garage was available for 2 cars rather than being used for a playroom.

Don’t be fooled by the marketing — this is not a five-star resort. The house was dirty (hair and grime on floors, mold in showers, paint patches on walls), supplies were minimal (only one towel per person and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for 27 guests), and basic maintenance was neglected (a broken bed frame, misleading “futons” that were actually fold-out chairs). Garbage piled up for days because of poor pickup and limited bags. The owner was dismissive when asked for more supplies, saying this “isn’t a hotel.” Overall, this felt more like a neglected two-star rental than a resort.

Loved the size of the house. 17 of us fit just fine.Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Plenty of cookware. 2 coffee pots and a Keurig. Beds were mostly comfortable. Loved the Solterra pool and playground. Loved the pool and hot tub!!Something happened to the house number. Knocked out of place. None of our hitches reached that high up

Great vacation home for large family!

The house was perfect for our vacation with all our children and grandchildren! It was roomy with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, also a living room, game room and poolside table and chairs. We enjoyed the resort pool as well as our house pool. It was a convenient location for all the day trips we had planned.

Great for Golfers

Had 12 guys on a golf trip. Loved the communication, always quick. Having 11 different bathrooms was nice as well. Would stay again.

Golf Trip

House was great for a large golf trip. Comfortably fit the 12 of us. Kenny was easy to contact. Would definitely rent this place again. Couple things to be aware of. Traffic at the gate to get in was a nightmare a couple of the days

Family reunion

Several issues here are a few In bedroom number 6, the towel rack in the bathroom broke last night when one of our guest gently placed a towel on it. It almost fell on her foot, which could have resulted in a broken bone. The garage. Not only do we have to manually open and close the garage, it has wires hanging down at eye level from the ceiling and out of the wall. That is a huge safety hazard. There are multiple kitchen tools that are broken The coffee table in the living area is wobbly and dangerous to use. The welding between the legs and the top half is extremely fragile and appears to be at the point of breaking. This is another safety hazard. Almost every bedroom door squeaks very loudly when opening and closing. This is a basic maintenance issue that could have been taken care of easily. Now guests in each room are waking others up every time they go in and out of their room at night. Air vents are filthy. They clearly haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. This is a huge air quality issue and can pose problems for anyone with allergies or asthma. Multiple towels have hairs from previous use in them and do not appear to have been cleaned properly. There is dust on all the blinds, looks like they were never cleaned Floors do not appear to have been cleaned. Anyone who walks around barefoot or with socks has a layer of black on the bottom of their feet. mattresses are old & uneven Limited seating in living room Cigarette buts & dirty everywhere

Family reunion

This is a very spacious nice and clean property. The owner respo ded to all the quarries prior to going there immediately. That was a big plus. We all enjoyex our stay.

Great place for a family reunion

There were 18 of us, ranging from 16 to 80, who gathered for a family reunion for folks from Florida, NJ, MD, and MI. Wow! What a great place for a reunion. 11 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, all nicely decorated, and a huge kitchen and living space made for an enjoyable time for all. The backyard pool was a great hit as was the pool table in the game room. The resort was great as well with its lazy river and larger pool. The house was clean, check in/out was easy. We'll definitely return!

Fantastic place. Really enjoyed it and it was perfect for what we needed. Only complaint was that the place wasn’t as clean as we like upon arrival. The floor had to be mopped clean 2 or three times before you could walk on it without your feet turning black.

Amazing vacation

Family vacation was amazing house host and front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, down fall a lot of wall plugs didn’t work and lazy river was not walking distance from house other than that we had a blast!

Golf trip

This property was perfect for our needs. It’s centrally located to the 4 golf courses we played that week. There were 12 of us and we were never crowded. The pool and pool area was the right size for our group. I would definitely rent this house again.

Mostly good

This home does a pretty good job of accommodating a large number of people. AWESOME to have 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers and 2 laundries! For future renters, it would be nice to provide the floor plan (which I did receive upon request) but here is the more accurate info: the 1st floor (Rms #1-4) are ALL Kings (#1 is the only K suite in the house.) When standing at the top of the stairs, to your left are #5, 6 and 7. #5 is the Micky twin double, 6 a K and 7 a twin double princess SUITE. To the right is the game room with #8 & 9 twin doubles and 10 K to the right and to the left 11 & 12 both Kings that share a bathroom. The bedrooms are quite tight except for the 2 suites. We had to lock the front door from the inside and exit through the garage door as the lock wasn’t working properly. We were told there was space to park 5 vehicles, but only room for 4 so we had to park one vehicle a distance away. We were there Christmas wk so it was extremely crowded w/ lots of cars parked on both sides of the very narrow streets. Limited trash pick up and no recycling. Limited cooking amenities required us to ‘road trip’ from MN so we would bring roasters and crock pots to cook for 21 guests. I would prefer a little extra fee for paper supplies & soap rather than having to go out and purchase for 12 bathrooms. The clubhouse was quite a distance from our house and no parking space. External speakers for the main TV would be a nice addition.

Family Vacation

We had 14 adults and 12 children ranging in age from 2-17. The house was the perfect size and the amenities made for a great vacation. The owner was very responsive to any questions or information we needed to share. We had a wonderful time!

Decor and Poolside

We arrived to the home rooms online stated 7 King Rooms and 5 Doubles. It was 8 King Rooms and 4 Doubles, which made it very hard to accommodate one of the Doubles Room guest we had to make a rearrangement. We paid for the pool to be heated and that didn’t workout either we just made the bedt of it. This house needs a update in the furniture it is very dated. The host Kenny was nice and refunded me back for the heated pool charge.

Birthday Vacation

The owner responded well with questions and concerns. I was a bit taken aback when calling the mananger's number during business hours. It alseemed as though he was asleep and he didn't identify himself at all. After reporting some of the issues with the property, he was quick on other concerns and texts. The bed linen was dirty and the remote for 2 of the rooms upstairs were filthy beyond touching. The ice machine shoots out ice when opening the door. There were scratches and marks throughout the property on furniture, walls, stair rails, and walls. One of the rooms downstairs drain was stopped up in the bedrooms. Mike, the proposed was quick on repsonding to the issues he could fix and brought new bedspreads, after suggesting I could wash them in the washer and dryer. Uhhhh nope, not on my vacation and with the amount of money spent to occupy the property. However, The property is very accomodating for a large group of people. The checkin process was smooth and the attendants had huge smiles and were very nice. If looking to reserve this property, please carefully inpsect it with pictures and videos and bring it to the attention of the owner, he will make sure other issues to the management team gets addressed. The beds slept very well and the rooms have great space.
