Property not kept up

Cleaning was sub par. Furniture dirty, floors dirty, walls dirty and scuffed up. One of the king beds broke and although they came and looked at it they said call the owner because it had been fixed to many times and needed a new bed. Owner gave us the run around . Third day Jose fixed it and said he was the one that fixed it last time and he didn’t think it would hold. After LOTS of messages back and forth from owner he decided to charge us $500.00. Avoid Charles Iiong properties and any properties Jeeve is manager of!!

Great place for the price!

I love the Encore properties, especially if the house provides access to the water facilities, which this house does. The house is large and has lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of common space to enjoy each other’s company, and fun themed rooms for the kids. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. I expected to have access to the movie theater and spa, since there are photos of them in the listing. However upon getting to the house there was no Roku remote to use with the upstairs movie room, and when reading the welcome binder, it stated that guests don’t have access to it, or to heating the spa, which was surprising. We didn’t plan to use either, but I thought it was strange. The kitchen is plenty spacious and well stocked with glasses and dishes and has two dishwashers. The necessities were there for cooking, but don’t expect anything beyond that. But we didn’t plan to do a lot of cooking, so that wasn’t a big deal. We didn’t receive the welcome soaps, shampoos, and garbage bags that were supposed to be included, but when I contacted the property managers they had everything to me by the following day. They were actually very responsive, which I appreciated, although it was frustrating to have no soap the first day. The house is clearly a rental and is rarely, if ever, stayed at by owners. It could use a deep cleaning and had a couple of hazards or broken items which I let the owner and property management know about. But all in all I was happy with our stay given the cost of the house and how many people could stay there.

Challenging Start, Great Finish!

Let me start by telling you that Charles was great and helped make sure that our stay was a good one. There were some challenges outside of his control. The pool heat didn't work because the pump was broken and a sensor on the heater went bad so we went without the pool until Monday afternoon. But Charles and Jeeves worked hard to fix it, even on a Sunday. By Monday afternoon, all was well with the pool. The previous renters did some damage to the property so the karaoke machine was broken along with the basketball game. A chair was also broken along with the closet doors in the princess room. But in the end, everything worked out. The home itself was great! The two refrigerators and two dishwashers were perfect for the 23 of us. We had 5 of our 7 children and their families for the week to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. We had plenty of room and with everyone doing day trips to the local theme parks, it never felt crowded. There was plenty of space to get away from the chaos of that many adults and children. The location of the home was also great since it was close to the basketball court and waterpark. There is also an employee parking lot across the street to park our cars since the driveway wouldn't handle more than 3 vehicles at a time. I was concerned about the busy street behind us, but I never really heard the traffic (I spent everyday at the house to make sure everyone and everything was taken care of). This property does not have a gas grill so we rented one for the week for $108. The outdoor space was perfect for our families. Large with plenty of seating and a child barrier to keep the littles from getting close to the pool. So as the title goes, we had a challenging start with lots of phone calls and messages on the front end, but by the end of the week, everyone had a great time.

Great Location!

This property is huge and in the best location. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a huge kitchen, private pool and access to the water park (within walking distance). Highly recommend.
