"It’s in a fantastic location and was easy to get everywhere from there. Chinatown was basically just outside our door and Union Square a 5 minute walk. We walked to pier 39 in about 25 minutes and to the cable car turn around in about 15 minutes. Literally everything was so conveniently close. It’s no 5 star but definitely a 3 star and we enjoyed our stay. Crazy old cage elevator if you can’t do stairs and the stairway is narrow and steep with a hairpin turn at the top. "I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. I felt safe. It was loud but not unbearable. A car horn and siren woke me up. The windows are right by the street. No real complaints. The stairs kinda shocked us. To afraid to ride the old school elevator. Would stay again my husband wouldn’t. "

"I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area. "

"We had a car and there was inside parking making it fantastic for us . We had to drive across town to get to Fishermsns wharf , Goksen gate the avenues etc .. 15 min at most with traffic ! The folks running the inn were friendly helpful and the atrium was fun ! The rooms a bit smaller than expected but ok for being in the city with the price ! "

"The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio.
