"Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. "Super luxurious stay- staff make you feel special. In the heart of the hinterland- wallabies, cockatoos, cookaburras galore. Room had every amenity- fireplace, aircon, large shower, comfortable king bed, TV, satellite internet, binoculars and hiking backpack. Breakfast at the paddock was special"

"Nice building in the heart of this small town with a nice bar and restaurant. Rooms clean with usual motel amenities, but a bit strange because the room was small but the bathroom was bigger than the room (very big). Complimentary ear plugs suggests there could be some bar noise on some nights but I didn’t suffer from this. I would stay there again."

"Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. "
