"The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. "We really liked this hotel a lot. We arrived late on Friday, after picking up my wife from the airport, but the reception staff were ready and waiting and when we decided to go to the bar for a nightcap, the bar staff were friendly and not rushed at all, even with only hand an hour till closing.
The room was spacious and comfy, with a great bathroom, nice toiletries, effective air con, and nice complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits, etc.

"We came to see Avebury and it was magnificent. We took the train to Bathe which was also wonderful. We made the mistake of not coming with a car which limited our access to many places. So come by car! However our hosts were helpful with rides and went above and beyond. Warm, friendly and gracious. Wonderful breakfasts! "
