Stylish country cottage in central Orange

This cosy stylish 2 bedroom cottage is in a great central location in leafy East Orange. Enjoy a couple of nights or a week in comfort, two minutes walk from the main street and so close to the best of Orange's cafes, bakeries, shops, bars and restaurants.

Dora Cottage has been renovated to suit singles, couples or a small family looking for a cosy country retreat or for professionals working away. It is fresh and clean and has everything you need for an easy time on your holiday or visit.

Dora Cottage has 2 bedrooms. The master has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 extra long single beds, perfect for both adults and children.

All beds are new, very comfortable and made with lovely new linen. Sheridan towels are provided. A porta cot and high chair are available. Porta cot linen is BYO as we have found people like to use their own.

The communal area has a cosy lounge and dining area. The dining table can comfortably seat 4 -6 or equally serve as a laptop space.

The kitchen is fully equipped for basic cooking including a dishwasher, microwave and stove for all your basic cooking needs and some cooking essentials are provided. Please note this is not a chef's kitchen and is set up for basic cooking only.

There's a Nespresso machine and tea pot in the kitchen for a morning coffee or tea and some tea and coffee is provided.

The cottage has one bathroom with a shower, toilet, vanity and a washing machine and there is a second toilet outside. There is no bath.

The backyard is north facing for lovely sun with a Weber BBQ and table and chairs to enjoy some time outdoors.

The home is set in a lovely quiet leafy street.

Guests have the entire home to themselves and we will organise easy pick up of the keys - with 24hr access to a lock box.

Street parking is available as is a driveway with undercover parking. The driveway is a bit difficult to navigate as it is narrow so street parking is recommended.

There is no outside power point but if you have an EV, you can connect via your extension cord from the house to the carport.

Check in is via lock box. You can enjoy the house all to yourself but please feel free to call or message Jen or Josh with queries throughout your stay. We live just outside of Orange and generally are not too far away to help if needed.

East Orange is an up and coming area with lovely Cafe's and ambiance. Its leafy and close to town.

Walking, drive or ride a bike it is close to everything you need!

Orange can get cold in winter and sometimes we are lucky to see snow. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner which can heat the whole house and an extra gas heater in case you need it.

Ceiling fans in the main bedroom and lounge help with circulating the warmth or cooling if needed.

There are also throw rugs and extra blankets provided.

The locked cupboard in the kitchen is not for guests to access. If you need something to make your stay comfortable, please contact us.

Please don't rearrange the furniture. We appreciate you washing your dishes and emptying the dishwasher before you leave.
