Nice place

The one problem we had, floors not clean, was taken care of quickly by cleaning staff once I reported it. Thanks. Nice place, good view, quick response to cleanliness complaint, well stocked kitchen. A few cracked glasses but there were plenty more to use. The complimentary starter kits were really nice. One note. Not sure there is any solution to this problem. We encountered the HOA president in the elevator and at the pool (along with one other owner) and he/they were rude. He was upset with a group of baseball tournament families. Said they left trash and you would have thought they were in a hotel. At the pool we were listening to music through the WiFi speakers (nothing loud or vulgar at all) and he and the other owner were upset and turned the tv on a sports channel and then proceeded to huff because we were apparently sitting where they usually sit (they weren’t even where they could watch the sports channel). Just a bit rude. But, the rental company was great to work with. Thanks for contributing to our great stay in Orange Beach.

FILTHY, DIRTY, TRASHY!!!

Upon entering, I was disappointed to find the place so dirty! Empty wrappers, soda bottles, pieces of candy and cereal, wads of hairballs on the floor, hair on the pillowcases & in the sheets, and blood stained pillows left for us to use. Utensils had rust on them, every corner of each floor (especially behind the doors) had dust balls collected. The stairs had dust and dirt clinging to it. The floors and baseboards looked like they haven’t been mopped in forever. Candy or syrup left the floors sticky to walk on. My kids walked around barefoot and I noticed their feet were black! We had to pay a cleaning fee upon booking, however I found myself having to run to the store to buy cleaning supplies to wipe down everything before settling in!! The floors were never swept or mopped/cleaned at all!! The pillows downstairs and upstairs had other people’s hair on it. We used the bath towels to cover the pillows during our stay. The smoke detector upstairs kept beeping in the middle of the night due to low batteries. We had to use a broom stick to reset it at 3AM! The location is convenient and security is walking around checking cars for parking tags frequently, however due to the trash, dirt, and filthy floors I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Per the previous reviews, the management company does not care about the feedback left, they have had complaints about the cleanliness of the place and it STILL HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED! The pictures look nice however this place is DIRTY!!!

Great condo in a great location

Very nice condo in the heart of Orange Beach. Convenient to coffee, restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to the beach or the state park bike trails.

Better than expected compared to other prices

Description was very accurate, and sleeping arrangements were perfect. Most amenities, restaurants, and activities were in walking distance.

Great Property

Upon checking in I was a little sad that we didn't get something right on the beach. But seriously we still had a great view of the beach and no issues crossing the street to the beach with thr light. Also the beach was never crowded, though it wasn't peak season. My family stayed at one of the high rise condos and waiting for elevators and finding spots on the beach were insane. I loved this quiet place so much more after spending a day at their place! Everything we needed was there and it was plenty of space for me and my husband and 4 kids. The cleaning service noticed a problem with the fridge before we checked in and they repaired it right away. The first day I noticed an issue with the washing machine and they fixed it right away. I also loved how the hosts had some books out. I forgot my beach reading material!

The condo was wonderful! The pull out sofa is SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE.

We loved the access to the beach, everything was very convenient. The pull out couch was awful.

Unhappy with the housekeeping

The floorplan, the space and location was perfect but I was very unhappy with the housekeeping. The Condo was not cleaned very well at all, there was hair everywhere two of the bed spreads upstairs were dirty with stains on them, the area rug was extremely dirty. It looked as if it had never been cleaned. The couch and chairs were very uncomfortable and so was the sleeper sofa ,the double beds in the bedroom downstairs were also not comfortable. The table on the patio was broken. The condo is very beautiful but the furniture needs to be updated and housekeeping needs to do better. Even with all the disappointments my sisters and I managed to have a great time, we take trips like this several times a year using this site and others,but I will not book this condo again. Very unhappy with the cleanliness of it.

Excellent!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The property is just like the pics. We had six guests and there was plenty of room. It is a couple blocks from Walmart and shopping. It was nice to cook there instead of fighting the crowds to eat out every meal. We had a nice ocean view from the balcony. It is a prime location just across the street from the beach. We had a great time! We will be back!

The property is nice. There was a broken futon sofa upstairs and trash under the beds.

Property is close to beach, pretty view from balcony, and space was plenty for our family.

Check in was awful, actual stay was great

Property and placement was amazing walk across the road and basically onto the beach. Had some trouble with check-in and had to sit in parking lot for 4+ hours waiting. Overall great trip just poor communication between cleaning staff and check-in office it seemed like.

not very clean

The size of the condo was nice for 8 people. However, it was not very clean. We had to clean the toilets, there were hairs under the covers. There was like a blood stain in one of the bed cushions. The master bathroom toilet was liking. There were not enough bath towels for 8 people, we had to do laundry everyday so we would have enough towels. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable but my 14 year old boy did not mind. Did not see any bugs!

Very clean but not very comfortable

The number of beds in the condo made it perfect for our group (some married, some single). However, the beds were very uncomfortable. The check in was easy, condo was clean, and wasn't hard to pull in and out of. Walking to the beach was a little difficult due to construction. The boardwalk was blocked off so we had to immediately hit the sand after crossing the street which made for a very long walk.

A Grand Time at the Grand Caribbean, Unit 418

Our family just returned from our vacation at Orange Beach, Alabama, where we stayed at the Grand Caribbean in Unit 418. The unit was clean and ready for us to enjoy our time there as the accommodations were comparable to what we saw online when we signed up. This unit has an amazing view of the gulf and the canal, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery there. Thank you for a wonderful stay...we will return!
