Newly built holiday home with a fjord view

Enjoy a wonderful holiday on Orø, where time seems to stand still as soon as you step onto the ferry.



Welcome to this lovely holiday home with high ceilings, a view over the fjord, and a lush garden teeming with insects and birdlife. There is room for four adults and two children. The bunk bed is only 160 cm long.



The 1200m² plot features whimsical paths, blooming flowerbeds, a cozy bonfire area, a grill, a small patch of lawn, a sandbox, and a large terrace that wraps almost all the way around the house. No matter where you sit, you’ll be able to spot the fjord.



The garden is wild and lush, often visited by our squirrels and woodpeckers who live in the pine trees. If you sit still for more than 5 minutes, butterflies, other insects, and birds will swarm around you. This is a perfect spot for nature lovers.



Inside, there are high ceilings, 3 good-sized bedrooms, a large kitchen and dining area, and a lovely bathroom with a shower, underfloor heating, and a washing machine. When sitting at the dining table, the natural light is fantastic, and it’s also from here that you can spot the fjord.



There is no bathtub in the bathroom, but if you step outside, you’ll find a sunken outdoor bathtub on the terrace, which can be filled with water from the tap right next to it.



There are various games and a TV with Chromecast, so even if the weather doesn’t allow for outdoor activities, you won’t lack entertainment.



If you walk 300 meters either to the left or right of the property, you’ll reach the fjord, and if you walk just another 1km, you’ll find the marina, where you can swim and catch crabs.



If you prefer a real sandy beach, it’s only 2.5km away. There are plenty of dining options near the house, and the local grocery store, Daglig Brugsen, is 1km away.
