"What a beautiful location and farm. So peaceful and a fantastic place to decompress. Matter of fact we spent a very enjoyable day on the lanai. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, a real kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, there’s a washer and dryer there, as well as snorkeling and beach gear available for use! We highly recommend this place and would stay again 3 easy check in/out, nice hosts. Farm is about 30 minutes from Hilo."

"Kahoa House was our vacation home for 4 days accommodating a multi-generational family of 4 adults and 2 children (9 &12yo). We loved the spectacular coastal location on Hilo Bay, especially all the wave action, surfers and even a cruise ship passing. "We had a relaxing stay at the View House. It's located close to Honoka'a to get goods, if needed, and also convenient to explore Waipi'o Valley. The house and grounds are as advertised. We took advantage of all of the fresh fruit available. Lots of orange juice and lemonade during our stay! The breeeze coming off the ocean is lovely. "

"The house was perfect for our two-day stay in Hilo with our three girls. The sound of the ocean was such a treat, and the cool breeze flowing through was lovely. We also really enjoyed the charming travel artifacts and the great selection of books across many genres. "House as described, Dannie is a wonderful host and always reachable. She helped us with everything in our special situation, we will never forget her and Jessica. If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else. We enjoyed it here, directly on the Hamakua coast line. Thanks for all, Dannie!"
