Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this beautiful cabin overlooking Brush Creek. Just minutes from Ontario, canoeing, Wildcat State Park, Kickapoo Valley Reserve and the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail.

You'll find a slower paced lifestyle in Ontario, come enjoy rural Wisconsin while staying in our well equipped home nestled into the hillside. Take the winding driveway up the hill from Highway 33 and you'll find the cabin with parking directly in front of the house for 2 vehicles. Sitting on the deck you'll have a view of the valley below including Brush Creek.

Inside the open floor plan offers a large space to sprawl out or have a cozy family dinner. The full size kitchen with concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances is an inviting place to cook dinner. An enclosed loft upstairs offers a private bedroom with a window looking into the forest. While the downstairs bedroom offers easy access to the living space and bathroom.

We are able to keep costs low and without a cleaning fee due to the great guests we have. Guests are responsible for leaving the cabin how they found it. A check-out list is provided in our Welcome Book (at the cabin) to ensure our cleaning staff only have to launder the linens and tidy up the cabin. This allows us to have a quick turn-around period for our next guests.

Crowe's Cabin is best enjoyed by folks who are fully accessible. To access the cabin you must walk up a slightly inclined parking area and stairs (as shown in the photos).

Crowe's Cabin is owned by Crowe's Cabin, LLC. The cabin is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Vernon County Health Department requires single use condiments, thus we are not able to provide bulk spices, condiments, coffee or tea.

The view! The birds singing! Deer, rabbits and a cute skunk way out in the field were all fun to watch. The cabin had everything we needed.Thee dvd player didnt work but Amanda quickly had one delivered to us!The beds were amazing! It rained and stormed almost all 5 days but we were safe and comfy. Cabin is spacious and has plenty of comfortable furniture for several people to lounge around. Played lots of games. Did some reading. Walked down to the creek several times to watch ducks and cows. 2 good restaurants in town.Wildcat Mountain State Park is beautiful.Ate too much Amish bakery goods Took lots of drives in the beautiful hills and valleys.Had a little emergency the 1st night and ended up in La Crosse at the ER. They were fantastic and took care of everything quickly. We're older and after this adventure we decided knowing a great ER isn't too far away is important

This is our 4th stay at Crowe's Cabin. We love sitting on the patio in the morning and enjoying our coffee. Great place to sit in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine while grilling a steak. Very peaceful. We plan to be back!!

We had a very restful and restorative 5 day stay. We explored the area, utilizing the house for a place to eat, play games and sit out front overlooking the field.

Very cute cabin well kept. You can hear birdā€™s singing, be careful of deer crossing roads. In a quiet area and close to canoeing, tubing, kayaking and close to a state park. You can also see the Amish going down the road in there buggy with a horse or 2 horses pulling it. Enjoyed staying there for 4 nights.

Loved the location and cleanliness. New appliances and dishwater, good towels also. Loved having a washer and dryer after hard outdoor days. Youā€™ll need to bring your own laundry soap, bar soap and shampoo for shower. Also, the only spices were little packets of salt, pepper and sugar- so plan ahead. Nice grill and fire pit, so we cooked our own meals most of the time. Loved visiting the Amish farms for produce. Would definitely come back again.

Absolutely loved Croweā€™s cabin. It felt safe, secure and homey. Two large thunderstorms passed through and the house just felt solid and cozy. Easy access to the Kickapoo river was wonderful and we made good use of the games and puzzles. A great stay!

This is our 3rd stay at Crowe's Cabin and we plan to be back many more times!! We enjoyed watching the eagles fly over the valley, and listening to the owls at night. While we drank our coffee on the patio one morning we had the privilege of watching and listening to the clip-clop of 50 or so Amish horse carriages on their way to a wedding. We can tell the owners' take great pride in their cabin, because it is immaculate and well cared for!

The cabin was lovely and the perfect place to sit back and relax, read a book, play games with the family or simply observe the beautiful surroundings including stargazing. Itā€™s close proximity to so many wonderful outdoor activities. We kayaked the Kickapoo, biked the Elroy Sparta trail, fished a little, hiked at wildcat, even saw a bald eagle. We did not want to leave!

Property was as listed and was a comfortable place to stay. Loved the details and organization of the owner; helped answer any questions. Nice touch to have water in the fridge. Overall, appreciated the cleanliness, and quietness of the setting.

Great place in a great area. We spent the day hiking at nearby Wildcat Mountain and shopped at the cool, local Amish stores. In the late afternoon we explored a bit of the property and grilled out on the super nice Weber grill. We ended our day around the fire pit listening to the sound of silence, the fire, and the occasional clip clop of an Amish horse and buggy gliding by on the highway which is about 300 yards away. Very little light pollution out this way and the air is fresh. Nice accommodations overall and a great base camp location to explore the area. We will be back! Thank you Amanda and Marlene.

If you want a real getaway from the world you are living in - this is the place! I have been to many cabins in Wisconsin and this will be my personal best! The location, views, space, comfort, outdoor access - it tops in all those points! Amanda was so nice and prompt in responding to all your queries and we felt like we are at home! Cabin is really clean and our 9 month old enjoyed the place better than us! Will be coming again here for sure!

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was conveniently located near bike and hiking trails and river canoeing. We enjoyed the firepit and appreciated the firewood supplied to us. The outdoor seating areas were also very nice. The cabin was nicely furnished and the downstairs bed was very comfortable. I rated the property four stars. It was a solid four stars. The one thing we would have liked was a place to hang clothes. We are on a four month trip and have a lot to hang up. A real plus was the washer/dryer.

Our weekend at the country house was a delightful escape. Nestled in picturesque hills, the house was warm and clean. The garden offered a tranquil retreat and captivating sunset views, while nearby towns provided local charm and cuisine. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, enhancing our experience with exceptional service. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Highly recommended for a serene getaway.
