"Had an enjoyable stay at Black Lake. Cottage was clean and furniture comfy.. There are quite a few stairs to get to the lake which provided beautiful sunsets. My spouse and granddaughter enjoyed the kayaks which were on site.Kitchen was well stocked and provided all we needed to prepare our meals. Two lovely decks enhanced the stay. "

"Such a lovely home base for our summer vacation week. Comfy beds and a great view of the woods from the upper/main floor. We were a little worried it might be off the grid and hard to use our GPS, but it’s easy to access in a quiet little neighborhood that had plenty of spaces to walk with our lab. "The property was clean and nicely set up. We were able to grill and cook most of our dinners which was great. And it is centrally located to Mackinac and petosky and the beaches. Beautiful stay. Property management was responsive via text and we were able to get what was needed. My only concern was the sliding door, it was difficult to slide. My 8 yr old had a hard time and so did the adults at times. We left feeling refreshed, so very peaceful. "
