"This is the place best to stay if you want to get away in the peace and quiet of rural Wisconsin. Larry and LuAnn greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived, and it felt like we'd known them forever. The space was comfortable for the 4 of us, with ample room to make meals, lots of windows to see the beautiful countryside (and watch the storms come in!), comfortable beds...I could go on...a place to grill, a fire pit...Check-in and check-out was easy. "Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking. If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles."

"The owners met us there at check in and showed us around the property- made sure we were aware of all the amenities and answered any questions we had. The kitchen had everything we needed, very organized. Wi-Fi worked great in the house if needed. The yard was wonderful- our grandchildren loved all the area to run, Overall we had a great week!"

"Stayed in Winona with a girlfriend and attended Ashley for the Arts. Easy commute to Arcadia, WI. Only one complaint and that was our lack of time to take in all Winona has to offer. The VRBO had everything we needed and then some. Cute place to stay, walking distance to Lake Winona and a few blocks to WSU. Highly recommend. "
