Great stay
Tidy house and yard, everything you need for a cozy stay. Not many places you can take your dogs away on holiday, this house was perfect plenty of room for the dog crates in the lounge with out them getting in the way. Fully fenced section stunning deck. Very handy for nearby walks and easy trip to Taupo for a day of adventure. Will hopefully be back for another stay soon.

Great space to relax
Enjoyed our stay. Was clean and a quiet and relaxing spot. A short, scenic drive to Turangi gives plenty of options. Plenty of space outside etc to entertain kids and a playground just across the road as well. Would stay again. Thanks 😀

Everything you need
Well presented, tidy, cute bach with everything you need! We enjoyed returning here after a day at the beach. Internet and Netflix a bonus! It was great to be able to bring our dogs too. Unfortunately one of our doggies realised the height of the fence was a breeze to jump over. Fencing better suited to little dogs. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it. A bit of a walk to the beach but definitely not a big deal.

The property is in a beautiful location, It was clean and had everything we needed to be self sufficient. Very relaxing with plenty of bird life.

Two night stay on a road trip.
This place is in an excellent location close to the beautiful lake, Also close to some cool hotsprings. Nice and quiet. Ample room.

Much needed get away
We had the best 4 days away in Omori. From the time I booked the cottage to getting there, it was all so easy. The hosts were helpful and so accommodating and also allowed us to have a dog with us. The house is comfortable and perfect for our 2 boys to run around in the garden and play. The fire was perfect for the days we got back from being in the snow and the walks are lovely and relaxing. We loved the area, it was so quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back in the summer time and plan to make coming to your holiday house in omori our new family get away place.

Great winter holiday
My three kids and I stayed at the bach, and we had a great time. It was very cosy and warm with great amenities. Great location - we went for walks around the lake and up Mount Ruapehu. I hope to be back!

Our week in Omori.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to your piece of paradise. Cant fault the accommodation. It had everything one needs for a visit. The firewood and having the dogs with us were bonuses. Great fridge and freezer, and gas hobby. Omori is a great place to chill out and relax. If you need it the internet and TV are provided. Weekdays we found it very quiet and felt like we had the place to ourselves. The local walks are a credit to people who have clearly worked hard to restorevtheclakecedge.

Serendipity indeed
It was a last minute decision which lead me there. So the bach lived up to its name. Comfy, cozy, all necessary amaneites and fully fenced so dog friendly. All in all I wish I could have stayed longer.

Wow ,what a Gem of a place! super quiet neighborhood,wonderful spot. My partner and I and our dog loved it.House is really comfortable to relax in and awesome to sit outside on deck and play on back lawn too with our dog..Really reasonably priced too.Lake nearby only 5 min drive-.Owner David was really lovely to communicate with and made staying here effortless.Thank you SO much -we will definitely be back !

That's Omori...
Great, quiet location with good sized, fully fenced section for our dog, who enjoyed exploring. The deck would have been lovely to use, but we struck a very wet weekend unfortunately. The lazy boy chairs have to be the most comfortable we've encountered on our travels, so enjoyed relaxing in those after a busy day! The house was mostly clean, but the vanity in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and there was dried toothpaste and hair left on it. The kitchen seemed well equipped, but as we travel with our own little kit of essentials we didn't use any of the cutlery or crockery. Overall, a great base to enjoy the Taupo region and bonus points for being dog friendly. Would happily stay again.

Nice little house in a very quiet neighbourhood. There was a path at the end of the street which crossed into the walk along the waterfront. This was amazing and our dogs loved it. Thank you to the owners allowing us to have the dogs too.

Serendipitous stay.
Delighted and thrilled with this domicile. Perfect size for we 3 adults. Weather was wet and cold and the firebox kept us warm and cosy. Instructions were detailed and thorough and Brian responded promptly to our call re the hot water. Greatly appreciated your home while we explored south of lake Taupo.

What a lovely place to relax and unwind - beautiful location. The woodburner was perfect for the cold wet winter days. This is a great place for family, friends, dogs :) (Met a few friendly neighbours too.) Hosts very responsive to enquiries. Hope to be back on day.

For a peaceful cozy home this is the one to go to, if you want to get away from hustle and bustle.
We really enjoyed staying here, my daughter, grandson and I. Lovely walks, comfy beds, home comforts and great shower, so serene and cozy. A lovely restful stay, will come back for sure :)

A lovely Lockwood cottage
A very cosy and well cared for little house. Not quite as close to the lake as I'd like but it is across the road from a playground, so the kids had something to do early in the morning!

Great location and deck
Great location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and across the road from a playground. Large fridge and good BBQ setup. Decent TV. Good value for money compared to other similarly sized places. Cons: Unfortunately the previous occupants hadn't cleaned up properly. The queen bed is terrible.

It's the serenity.
We loved our stay at Serendipity Shelter. Set in a quiet location, yet only a short trip to Turangi and the various activities we had planned. The log burner heated up the place in no time, and there was ample space for our family of 4. If you are wanting a place to base yourself for a few days of activities, or simply wanting to relax- this is the place for you.
