Beautiful Croatia

This house is amazing and Anita is so welcoming. If it is your first time in Croatia then near Omis is great location at Naklice and you must stay at Anita house. Perfectly tidy and clean, pool is cleaned every day before breakfast and one evening Anita cooked a huge meal for us. Although we had the top floor of the house we were not disturbed. The area is quiet if you want that but close enough, 10 mins, to Omis which is a lovely town. Lots of water sports which we loved. I would give 10 stars if I could, this holiday stay is marvellous. Forgot to mention the amazing outside kitchen where we ate every day.

Great Holiday

Everything was excellent. Extremely well cared for property and very well looked after by the hosts. We could not have expected more. The pool area is fantastic and the accommodation is flexible and suited the 7 of us perfectly. We had everything we needed and more. A big thank you to Anita!

Great place for family

We enjoyed our stay very much; kids loved the pool and we spend our evenings in the summer kitchen cooking on the grill. Our host was fantastic and very helpful with local tips, we loved the tomatoes straight from the garden 😍

Our week at Villa Skura

Right from the beginning until the very end of our stay we enjoyed every moment.The spacy and modern apartment as well as the outdoor space with pool is gorgeous, the landscape breath-taking. Our host Anita is the lovliest you can think of. Thanks a lot for everything!

Superbe découverte d une pépite

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette superbe maison afin de visiter SPLIT et sa région . La maison est idéalement située ( le petit village d OMIS à 15 min de la maison est très pratique pour la mer et les commerces ). Les propriétaires sont adorables et généreux. Maison propre, moderne avec une excellente literie. Un grand merci ANITA 😘

Stay with two families in September

We were really happy with our appartment. Best of all was our host Anita, who was always easy to contact and eager to help in case of any questions/requests. The accomodation was very clean when we arrived and we spend every evening in the nice outside area.

Traumurlaub in Villa Skura

Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt. Der Pool war toll mit dem alten Bäumen hatten wir den ganzen Tag viele verschiedene Schattenplätze. Super eingerichtete Aussenküche mit zwei riesigen Kühlschränken. Die Küche der Wohnung nutzen wir nicht. Anita verwöhnte uns mit einer herrlichen Käse- Schinken Platte und Tomaten, Zwiebeln, Knoblauch und Paprika gab es aus ihrem Garten. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit hilfsbereit aber niemals aufdringlich. Ein wunderschöner ruhiger Ort zum Erholen. Zum empfehlen und eigentlich ein muss ist die örtliche Konoba. Anita gibt hierzu gerne Auskunft.

A perfect holiday

We have had a wonderful week at Villa Skura! Our host, Anita, welcomed us with platters of food, wine, beer and produce from her garden. She could not have been more helpful suggesting places for us to go, she helped us hire bikes and she cooked us the most delicious meal on our last night. The villa is fantastic and is well situated in the countryside and near Omis and Split. We only wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to return!

A truly fabulous holiday!

We have just returned from a most fantastic stay at villa Skura. Anita and her family were amazing hosts, they kindly shared with us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden as well as cooking a most delicious meal for our family of 8. They were there if we needed anything at all but always respected our privacy. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in clean surroundings with the most excellent hosts. .

Perfect holiday rental

I always intend to write reviews for holiday rentals, however once I get home I rarely get round to it. However, I am determined (for once!) to write a review for Villa Skura as it is an extremely high quality holiday rental. Villa Skura is a top floor apartment and the owners live below. I thought that this might be a bit intrusive but it worked out very well. The owners were there if we had a problem but they were otherwise very quiet and unobtrusive. The whole area round the villa is very peaceful and tranquil which we greatly appreciated. The villa itself is spotlessly clean and the furnishings are modern, stylish and comfortable. For a top floor apartment it also felt very spacious. There is a lovely balcony which overlooks the valley where we really enjoyed having our breakfast every morning. We also loved the summer kitchen next to the pool - perfect for cool drinks and eating in the evening! The owner Anita and her family also deserve a special mention. Anita is very kind and helpful. We arrived to find the fridge in the summer kitchen full of cool drinks and food, including the most delicious homemade cherry strudel! Later on in the week, Anita cooked dinner for us which was also delicious; she catered for the various dietary requirements of my 3 children which really was above and beyond the call of duty! The villa is on the outskirts of a small and pretty village called Naklice. There is a wonderful restaurant in the village which is about a 15 minute walk away via a footpath through the olive groves - perfect for ambling down for dinner in the evening. Omis itself is very pretty and when we weren't lounging by the pool we did a number of activities there such as zip-lining (highly recommended) and a boat trip up the canyon. I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Skura - I would really struggle to find any faults with it!

Amazing Villa

We stayed in Villa in June/July 2019 for 2 weeks. We had 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The Villa was absolutely fantastic for us, it was exactly what promised and even more. We had great time in the Villa, pool area and of course in Omis. Villa and pool area were clean and very functional, especially the outdoor kitchen was best we have had. The owners were also fantastic, they were super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this villa!

Absolutely outstanding! A great base, great facilities and an amazing host!

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday. Our party was made up of two families of 4, with children aged 7, 7, 5 and 5. The kids loved the pool! The summer kitchen was brilliant. I don’t say this lightly, but in this case Anita the owner of this beautiful villa was absolutely amazing. She provided lots of fresh, organic, homegrown vegetables and also prepared us a fabulous homemade meal. She literally could not do enough for us. I have never stayed anywhere and had such a fantastic host! We explored the surrounding area as there are so many beautiful places to visit within a reasonable drive time (Trogir, the Island of Solta, Brac, Split, local beaches, Makarska). Omis has lots of lovely restaurants, a supermarket and other shops. We have never visited Croatia before but found the people to be warm, friendly and welcoming. The children have loved this holiday and want to come back - as do the adults! If you haven’t visited Croatia before, do some research before you come so that you know what things you’d like to do. It’s also worth packing a brolly for the odd shower owing to the heat and being located near to the mountains, which brings with it the odd thunderstorm. (We only needed umbrellas twice and for about 20 mins - so please don’t let this put you off). We also visited Dubrovnik but it’s a good drive, so I would recommend a stop over there rather than trying to get there and back in one day. It’s is a beautiful drive! I’ve rated this with the full 5 stars as it was simply outstanding!

Supertolle Unterkunft. Alles vorhanden, von Geschirrtüchern bis zu Badetücher für Poolliegen. Super Sommerküche/Poolhaus mit integriertem Grill. Ganz tolle ,herzliche Eigentümer (Anita u. Damir + "Oma/Opa), immer hilfsbereit. Wurden stets mit frischem Obst und Gemüse versorgt. Bei Ankunft, kalte Platten mit Käse, Prsut (Rauchschinken) und Wein, Cola + Apfel- und Kirschstrudel. Und obwohl die Eigentümer im selben Haus wohnen (seperater Eingang, komplett abgegrenzt), war die Privatsphäre nie gestört. Bis zum Strand ca 8 km. Ein Lebensmittelladen zzgl. Bäcker ein paar hundert Meter weiter..

Absolutely wonderful. Amazing house and amazing owner.

This villa is perfectly set up for a family holiday. We spent most of our time outside in the wonderful garden and amazing summer house. The villa was brilliant, very clean and comfortable. The owner Anita was just exceptional. The best holiday we have ever had.

Just Perfect!!

Villa Skura is as wonderful as it's owners. Anita and her family were so nice. They were there to greet us and show us around the beautiful apartment and its grounds. The area for guests is all very private and although the owners live onsite they do leave you to your own devices. Should you need them, a knock on their door and they are there for whatever you might need. The outside kitchen is where we spent most of our time, we didn't even use the kitchen in the apartment. Anita recommended the local restaurant that is within walking distance and we loved it... Another fun night out was "to the Flintstones" you do have to get into Omis (a 5 minute drive away) where the little bus collects you and takes you up the mountains to the BBQ restaurant that really is like visiting the Flintstones!! We had just the best time, the accommodation and all the outside areas were very clean and spacious and the pool was just amazing!! It was peaceful and relaxing with stunning scenery and lots to do within a short distance. You do need a car and apart from the locals being a bit impatient the driving experience was ok. We will definitely return to Villa Skura for another fabulous holiday.

Private but family there if needed.stunning scenary, close enough to beaches , river and mountains.

At first I was unsure about the fact the owners were in the apartment below. This was soon was soon dispelled. The appartment lovely and the BBQ House iby the pool s fab. The family were lovely and very welcoming. Pebbly beaches with the clearest sea and always some shade. We went from 26/9/17 for 10 days,with one day of rain and average temp of 74° Zip line, boat trip to island with lunch and boat trip on the river recommended. Loved the place and the people. Would go again. Age ranged of party 52 to 78. ☺

Extremely well equipped, cannot find something to complain about.The house and the view are incredible. The landlady, Anika is extremely generous with her fruits and vegetables, you couldn't want any fresher.

Luxury and hospitality in beautiful surroundings

The luxury of a 4-star hotel, the hospitality of a country cottage. The house is so beautiful, up to every last detail. The pool and summer-kitchen are simply the best!! From a bbq up to a dishwasher, everything you might need is in there. The owners bring you homegrown fruit and vegetables which is simply delicious. We have enjoyed our stay so much and are ready to book for next year. We are absolutely going back! Thank you Anita & family for a wonderful holiday! Van Spanje Family, Holland
