"This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a...

"Wonderful house in Twizel. Clean, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood. Bit far to walk to town center, but just a 2-3 minute drive. Only downside was they told us after making the reservation that there were no toiletries (e.g. shower wash & shampoo). Internet password was out of date but they were very responsive in providing updated info so not a big deal."

"Once again a sensational location to base ourselves for the annual fishing trip to Twizel. Our second time staying here and after not being able to book it last year I was told by the other guys to make sure I got in early to get us back here once again. Seamless transaction again and all expectations were met. Terrific place to stay ! "

"This property was perfect for our stay as we photographers explored the areas around Twizel and within a day's return journey.Very quiet street and a short drive to the shops.Great kitchen and living area. As there was a couple and myself, we only used the master bedroom and one of the other queen bedrooms which were well sized. The beds were very comfortable, but some new firmer pillows would be good.The recycling heating system was very difficult to operate and did not stay on for very long....

"Great cabin/farm style stay. Incredibly cozy, even in the cold and snowy weather we got. Cabin was furnished with everything we needed, kitchen was very nice, shower was great for temperature and pressure, and the spa was an absolute joy to use in the snow! The owners are also a delight - very thoughtful and helpful. Can not recommend this place enough for a high country getaway!"
