The Good:- Location - literally 2 minutes from Alpine Meadows Subway Chair lift.- That’s it - not much more good things to say about this place.The Bad:- Wood stove not functional: There is a pellet stove in the living room, but the exhaust duct was badly leaking smoke into the room. Could not be used at all. It’s controlled from the thermostat, which was set to OFF, so it’s clear they knew about this issue and rented anyway. I will say that Vacasa promptly delivered space heaters within 4 or 5hrs of my call.- Baseboard radiators: Bedrooms and living room have radiators, which work, but take 12-15hrs to heat up the room. We arrived at midnight in January and spent the 1st night sleeping with our ski jackets on.- Cold rooms: The only heater in the bathrooms is from the overhead vent which runs on a timer. 15minutes of heat at a time is all you get. Two bedrooms are downstairs, when we arrived the heat was completely off downstairs, and it was literally freezing. Given how slow the radiators work they should have the heat on ahead of guest arrival. One of the bedrooms had an exterior sliding door that is misaligned and can’t close all the way and lets in a steady cold draft.- Balconies: There’s a sign on the outside of the building that the balconies and decks are unsafe and cannot be used. Ours were literally boarded up with 2x4’s and caution tape nailed to the wall on the outside of the doors to prevent people from going outside. There’s a nice weber grill out
