Experience the best of South Texas living at this opulent 4BR/2.5BA house. Interior highlights include LED lighting, gleaming fixtures, and glossy ceramic tiles throughout. Spend leisurely afternoons by the sparkling pool, or cast a fishing line in the canal behind the property.

Relax in the open living area, where comfortable seating and a TV create the ideal setting for movie nights. Prepare delectable meals in the modern kitchen, complete with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and an island stove. Keep the chef company at the breakfast bar. Serve dinner in the formal dining space. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer.

This single-story house sleeps 14 guests in four bedrooms, each with stylish tray ceilings. The primary suite has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a queen bed with a trundle. The fourth bedroom has a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed with a trundle. The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower, and a half bath provides added convenience.

The highlight of this stunning home is the spacious fenced backyard, complete with a swing set. Spend sunny days lounging by the pergola-shaded pool (unheated and available year-round).

Overall, our stay was good. The host was responsive and did her best to help. I contacted the host a few days before our stay to let her know we had 14 people and needed towels and bed linens for that many. When we arrived (a little early) there were not enough. Someone did bring more, but we still only had 1 bath towel per person, and only 4 washcloths and a few hand towels for all 14 of us. We also didn't have enough pillowcases. Additionally, there were only about 10 plates and bowls for us to use. We ended up having to buy paper goods to use. There was a coffee pot but we had to buy our own filters. There was also a really bad smell when we first arrived. It dissipated slightly but we could still smell it throughout our stay. We did appreciate the half bath that is located outside. With several adjustments, we were able to enjoy our stay here.

Beautiful Home - but missed everyday amenities

The home is beautiful as described. Unfortunately, it was not stocked with needed amenities for an 8 night stay, I listed 8 guests - the home accommodates 13. Home does not have a dishwasher, however we had to supply our own dish soap. Only half of a roll of paper towels, 1.5 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, no hand soap in bathrooms, only 3 kitchen garbage bags. This was a bit frugal for an 8-night stay. The Living room throw rug is very old (curled up at corners - tripping hazard) and grossly stained. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Back yard & pool are beautiful; however grass was very tall. Neighborhood is quiet. Overall we did not let the frugalness affect our stay, we had transportation and were able to purchase the items needed. Overall we had a comfortable relaxing time in this home. I am rating low on communication with property managers as they did not respond to my 'can we check in a few hours early message' upon arrival. We did not try to reach out to them again after no response.

Amazing Christmas!

This house was perfect for a holiday get together with family. The owners even had a Christmas tree with decorations and lights for us! Lots of parking and space for all of us. Backyard is perfect with a pool, grill and playground. Sufficient linens, comfortable beds, and lots of cooking items! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great family home

I have stayed at this home before and both times have enjoyed it like if it was my own home. It has all the amenities I need. It is very spacious and clean. There is plenty of parking with a large two car garage. The laundry room adjacent to the kitchen is a big plus. The bathroom in the patio is very convenient for a day in The beautiful pool.

Family reunion

We loved the location. Everyone in our family was happy with the accommodations. The kids enjoyed the pool and swing set. They had enough space to play. Our daughter who lives in Harlingen was really surprised to see all of us coming down from NJ and San Antonio to see her. Renting this property made it all possible. Thank you!

Overall a very nice home with only a couple of negatives

The house was very nice. There was plenty of sleeping options and the outdoor area was very nice. My only negatives are that the master bed did not have a box spring. It's probably ok for most people, but I have an arthritic back, so not very good for me. The master shower is a rain shower, which i don't care for. There are also no towel racks. That aside, we had a great time and this was a great way for our family to have a place to hang out.

Everything great but the Internet

This is the 2nd year staying at the property. Property management was very helpful and responsive. Very clean and well maintained. Only criticism would be the internet. The internet was down for several hours and when it came back it was extremely slow. Since the TV’s all run on internet we had to leave the house to watch Football.

Work Trip

We were traveling for our company and found this property fit our needs very well. Only unfortunate part of the location is the proximity to stores or convenience stores. We had to coordinate ubering everywhere. We ended every time but one in the pool. It was very refreshing after a hard day at work.

Awesome location

This property is a wonderful rental. The home is very beautiful and there is enough space. The kids had a blast in the pool. The evenings outside were relaxing. Would definitely recommend. The only small issue are the bunk beds as the top beds might need a bit of adjustment as they felt loose and the kids were a bit scared to sleep on the top bunks because they felt they would fall. Other than that, this is an awesome rental and we enjoyed our stay and weekend.

Excellent Property

This was an amazing property. Would highly recommend this location. Clean, spacious, and nice neighborhood. We used this house for a jump off point to do local birding. Easy to South Padre and west to McAllen.

Would Stay Again

Overall the stay was great. Home was very nice and spacious. The only negative is that the lawn wasn't cut prior to our arrival. The high grass worried my wife as we didn't let the kids play outside nearly as much due to the grass being cut and spiders being all over the play ground. Other than that, it was a 5 star. I'm sure if I would have communicated that to the host, they might have taken care of the lawn issue. However, I took pics of the issue but never reported it to our host.
