"This place exceeded our expectations! Very private and so cozy. The place is super clean and comfy. The owners literally thought of everything-scones, beer/wine, chocolates, bathrobes, firewood…everything was honestly perfect. We enjoyed a fire at night and had some deer visitors. Great location for hiking and restaurants. Great communication and we were even able to check in early. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this was our favorite. Book it!!!"

"We had a great time staying here. It was a nice place for our whole family. We wanted a place to stay that was close to Schweitzer and dog friendly. It’s about a half hour away and an easy drive. We loved being able to use the hot tub and enjoyed the variety of games and the ping pong table. The only complaint is that we tried reaching out to the owner to ask a question about a week before our trip and we never got a response."

"Amazing views of the lake. Amazing location. Amazing owners live next door very friendly. Stayed May 9th-12th, Mother’s Day weekend, got to see the amazing northern lights. Over all it was a great old rustic style cute house. Perfect for a bigger family with older kids. Will definitely stay again. Thank You."

"Me and my partner had a beautiful stay here for his 30th birthday. Had plans to see Silverwood theme park but unfortunately they closed. Heidi and Don were wonderful hosts for us! The lake was beautiful too. Even got to enjoy using their small row boat to fish on the lake! (Be sure to get your fishing license for the day) The kitchen set up in the small and cozy guest house was unique. Definitely enjoyed making our coffee in the morning and sitting down by the lake. "The house had everything you could want for a nice, quiet stay in the mountains. The owners were very responsive to any request (which was only for butter to cook eggs!), and even provided us with snacks and wine for our first day! It was a big house with lots of room. Although close to owner's house, felt very private. Enjoyed seeing the sheep and Max every day. We would highly recommend staying with Mark and Victoria."

However, we felt like price we paid was a bit premium for the lackluster service provided by vacasa. For example, we were only provided 2 dishwasher packs for 5 days and were told vacasa is not a hotel by their service and we had to buy our own. "We needed an extended stay for our unique situation and Joe and Joshua were the best hosts! The house is comfy and well proportioned even for a family of five with pets. All the amenities were there for a longer stay, and the location is perfect for a short commute to CdA. The backyard is lovely and serene and there was plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and even our storage trailer and boat! We are so grateful to have found this place and the wonderful accommodating hosts!"

"The house is very cozy and accommodating, we stayed for a week and nobody wanted to go home. The layout worked great for our group - our teenagers and older kids stayed in a downstairs unit and we loved it was separate from the main house.
