"Stayed one night for a family wedding. Mixed experience. Overall a lovely hotel and pleasant staff. But they desperately need air con in the bedrooms. Stayed in a deluxe family room. Whilst I appreciate it was extremely warm weather just one fan in a large family room cannot compensate for not having air con. The windows don’t open far due to being on first floor so next to useless especially with the thick blackout curtains closed. Also no fridge in the room which you’d expect with a 4* resort....

"Staff delightful, as ever. Characterful pleasing place. Much improved rooms. Food excellent. Room not tidied up overnight or bed made up, should’ve been. Breakfast should be available before 9am. Won’t stop me coming again however!"

"Lovely setting with wonderful views, history and friendly staff (especially Val at breakfast) our second visit. "

"I stayed at the White Hart on a work trip and it was delightful. Quintessential English charm and all the comforts of home while I was away. The food was great and the coffee/lattes are even better. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was neat and comfortable. I was sad to have to leave but had a lovely time!"

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). The ford was good, the beer excellent and the staff friendly and...

"Lovely, quirky old property in Midhurst which is a very pretty town. The bed was very comfortable. The shower could get very hot so you need to be a little careful. It is a very old building so these things are to be expected. Breakfast was very good. All staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay again. "
