Ā Four of Arkansasā€™ fabulous state parks are less than an hour away and each offers family friendly to extreme outdoor experiences. Ā Enjoy the stateā€™s newest mountain bike trails at Mt. Nebo or rock climbing at Mt. Magazine. Ā Hike down to Cedar Falls Waterfall at Petit Jean State Park or catch some fish on Lake Dardanelle and Nimrod. Ā Looking for more low-key adventures, watch the hang gliders soar over the Arkansas River Valley or enjoy a picnic at sunset from any number of breathtaking vistas.

Just off of state highway 10, Cedar Bluff Cabin feels miles away from anywhere and everyone. Ā This charming A-frame cabin has three levels with stunning views from decks located on two of those. Ā The main floor features an open concept well stocked kitchen, dining and living area with a wood burning fireplace. Ā The cabinā€™s full bathroom is also located on this level. Ā The main level deck has a gas grill and plenty of room for relaxing. Ā Back inside and up the spiral staircase guests will find a double twin bedroom and the master king bedroom. Ā The master bedroom deck has the best view for sunrises, sunsets and stargazing. Ā To reach the private third bedroom just follow the staircase outside the front door down to a covered landing. Ā  The first floor includes a bedroom with a futon bunk bed and a futon couch, a coffee bar, half-bath and washer/dryer.

The grounds of the property and the overall location were incredible. The house was cute and had some fun items like dvds and games. We do wish the house had been in a bit better condition and better set up as a rental. It was not well cleaned and was missing some basics like conditioner and soap in the shower. The kitchen is kind of a hodge podge of items and could use some clean up and organization. If youā€™re planning to cook all your meals it may be a challenge. Also if you plan to use the grill know that itā€™s rusted and very dirty. Lastly, the house was unbelievably infested with lady bugs. Weā€™ve never seen anything like it. There were hundreds of them. We did enjoy our stay but just some things to be aware of.

The cabin was exactly as pictured and the view was spectacular. It was so charming and felt so homey and comfortable. Little details like a dog bed/blankets (even though we didn't bring our pups this time), ibuprofen for those after-hike aches, and firewood in the fireplace were all extra touches that made us feel so welcome. The location was convenient to all the things we planned to do on Lake Dardanelle and in Petit Jean State Park, and yet far enough away and secluded enough that it seemed like we were miles away. The directions and check-in provided by the host were easy to follow. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

My husband, daughter, and I, along with our dog, greatly enjoyed our relaxing retreat to this cabin. We particularly loved the privacy and the view. My favorite thing to do was sit on one of the back decks on the cool mornings and listen to the creek run below.

Though my favorite thing was looking up at the stars at night from the zero gravity chairs on the upstairs balcony, there are many great things about this property that my family loved! The view from any area outdoors is beautiful. We used the gas grill on the lower deck to cook steaks one night. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils we needed. The spiral staircase to the bedrooms was too much for my older family members, so they slept in the downstairs apartment that is accessed by outside steps lighted by solar lights. It was a bit of a challenge to keep my four-year-old granddaughter off the stairs and the outside decks. Wi-fi was good! We didn't walk down to the creek because it was a steeper incline than we figured we could manage. Petit Jean state park is just a short drive from the property. We want to come back again when it's just me and my husband for our next year anniversary, or maybe bring the babysitter with us for our granddaughter!

My family stayed here for a week for our summer vacation before school started again! We loved it! I have 2 small children (4 and 3) and they really enjoyed staying here as well! I would recommend if you have small children to bring a baby gate just for safety with the stairs. I did communicate with the owner before coming and she did let me know that there was not one there at the moment(we brought one with us). I really appreciate how quick and kind the owners are!

This little a-frame is bigger on the inside. We had a great stay with 3 kids, primarily spending the days over at Petit Jean State Park. The cabin was very nicely appointed, with a great view and the sound of a creek out the back decks. One note, beds are upstairs so if you have a little one, make plans for safety on the staircase. We really enjoyed this spot and would stay here again.

Everything about this property was better than expected. Fully furnished and tucked away with everything you need for some good ole R&R! The property manager was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Close enough for a day trip to Petit Jean and several state parks! Canā€™t say enough good things about this property and our stay. Just book it!

This little A-Frame in the woods was just lovely! Perfect location for hiking the 3 near State Parks. It was perfect for our 6 travelers. The view was spectacular and the inside was cozy and well stocked with necessities. We loved our stay at Cedar Bluff Cabin!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a remote and peaceful weekend away at this charming cabin. We spent the day hiking at Petit Jean, which was a 23 min drive from the cabin. The balcony was a perfect place to drink coffee, enjoy meals, and watch the sunset. We definitely hope to be back with our kids!

Enjoyed staying here. It has a beautiful view. The only drawback is that on the description, it says it has 2 bathrooms, but one is only a 1/2 back. This house was perfect for our party of 5. Great view.
