"Water stains in the curtains and lamp, old stains carpets and a balcony that looks like it’s going to crumble. If you haven’t pre-ordered dinner, they won’t let you order on the spot and there aren’t any restaurant options nearby. Definitely do not stay here in the summer and even if you’re coming up to ski in the winter, pay the extremely high prices to stay somewhere newer."
"Very friendly staff at the hotel, they helped a lot and were very welcoming in English! They had a nice dinner and solid breakfast (with some western dishes). At the end I was positively surprised with a free transfer to the station. Definitely recommend. "
"This is an amazing place!! I have travelled around Japan for a few weeks and this was definitely one of the best places i stayed for several reasons:
1st- the staff is incredible!! And I mean not just the usual JP politeness , here they were really friendly, supportive and interested - giving a lot of recommendations and showing interest
2nd - they have a great chef that makes each dinner and breakfast a delightful adventure through local cousine
3rd - the beds are super confortable and warm...
