Meadow cottage between downtown Ojai and Shelf Road trailhead less than .5 mile

Our guest cottage is situated in the corner of our property overlooking a bucolic meadow. The back deck is perfectly situated to see Chief's Peak on one side and the open field intermixed with mature sycamores and oaks. We have recently remodeled the kitchen/dining/living room to enhance the functionality of the small space and upgrade to more premium material finishes (the shelves, bar counter, and coffee table are all from local oaks that had fallen in the Ojai Valley). Although cottage is less than 750 sqft, it feels much larger on account of the well thoughtfully furnished/designed space along with the extensive views of natural landscape out of all of the surrounding windows.

The location of the cottage is ideal, both the downtown Ojai Arcade and the Pratt Trailhead are less than a mile in each direction of the property. The neighborhood is on the northern edge of town and the cottage sits on the south side of the end of a tiny cul-de-sac street (no through traffic) looking up at the Topa Topas. Although the property feels like you're in town, the property is completely silent at night (except for when the surrounding wildlife has something to say ;) ).



We have a ONE MONTH MINIMUM policy with NO EXCEPTIONS.
