Wells Vacation

The house was perfect for our family of four (2 teens) and gave us some room to spread out. The gated community was very nice, quiet and well kept. The house was very comfortable and we loved the beach and relaxation vibes. Convenient location to the beaches but also Wells, Ogunquit, York and Kennebunkport! Thank you!

Everything was great!

The cottage was exactly as described. The owner was very resposive when we had a question. The community was terrific...mid week in September is an awesome time to visit. Hope to make this an annual event.

Just the right size

This house was just the right size for our small family. We used the solarium as a playroom and had a wonderful stroll on the grounds. Would love to go back again next year to the same house! Bed were super.confortable too!

Great rental experience

Home was quaint, well equipped and maintained. The location was very convenient to all of the beaches, shops, and restaurants we enjoy visiting when coming to Maine. The home is perfect for a small family and being in a gated community was very nice. Very quiet and well maintained properties within the community.

Central location

We liked the property. The pool was perfect and the cottage was lovely. We would suggest a fan in the three season room. It was uncomfortably hot in there so we bought a fan in order to be able to use it. We have stayed at many VRBO or AirB&B properties and have never had to wash the sheets and towels that we used. This really put a damper on the ending to our vacation. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We were asked to replace anything that we used up such as dish liquid, toilet paper etc. in order for the next guests to have these supplies. Again, this was unusual. The location is perfect as you are close to both Wells beach and Ogunquit. Check in was easy.

Nice little cottage

We did have a small issue checking in (partly my fault) but the owner was quick to respond and sorted everything out. Make sure to E mail before arrival. The cottage is in a great area and the complex is lovely. We sat by the pool for an afternoon and we were the only ones there for a while. My only minor criticism would be the lack of storage in the 2nd bedroom- there is nowhere to hang clothes and one of the drawers was missing. Also we had to look through the drawers to find the bedding for the main bed as none of the beds were made. Not a big deal though and I would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay here again if we were in the area.

Peaceful retreat

I recently staying at the property with family and it was everything we could have hoped for. The cottage was lovely and clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. The owner thought of everything down to the finest detail. The property was lovely with the pool, hot tub and game room. We were a quick mile to the beach. I would absolutely recommend this rental.

This cottage was perfect for our trip! Shawn was great to communicate with. The home was stocked with everything we needed. It was clean, there were tons of towels, extra linens, beach gearā€¦ Everything was exactly as described. We loved it!!!

A good stay

Property is located on a quiet traffic circle in the large Beach Dreams complex; a real plus! Some of the other properties have dirt parking area; this one has paved parking on the circle, close to the front door. Some of the others are very close together; this one has some space between it and neighbors, so it does not feel too close to anyone.

Wells extended weekend

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very easy communication with the owner/host Shawn. The home itself was very comfortable. The location was quiet. My Mom loved the 3 season porch. It was easy to get to all the different places we went to including the beach, shops, and restaurants. I would definitely return to the cottage!

Disappointing

We were responsible for cleaning the linens before leaving. I didnā€™t pay an outrageous cleaning fee to do their job. This place wasnā€™t cheap and we ended up leaving a day early due to the mice wandering around at night and getting into our groceries on the counter. They need to clean up their act , quite literally.

Fun family vacation

We loved this cottage. It is very centrally located within the complex right next to the main pool so very convenient w kids. Central ac did not work and we communicated w the owner about this. The ac unit worked but it wasnā€™t a very hot week so we were ok. I would worry it wouldnā€™t be enough on a hot humid week. House has everything you would need - donā€™t bring much! Beach gear and toys as we as umbrella available to use as well as games to play in the home. I would bring my own sheets and towels next time FYI bc you are expected to wash and dry and have all linens and towels folded before check out. It makes for a stressful checkout day because the washer and dryer are small and takes awhile to dry heavy towels and sheets. Just something I wish I had known. Overall a great stay. We loved the cafe across the street for coffee and sandwiches ( get the gobbler!) and we loved biking around the complex w the kids. Complex has a great pool and hot tub as well as gym.

Perfect setup and location for small families.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house truly had everything we needed to ensure a smooth vacation. Location is great as it's very close to many beaches and just a short drive to neighboring towns. We'll definitely be back again next year!

Short getaway

We had a shortened vacation due to plans changing with Covid restrictions and found this place on short notice. Great location, good price, clean, nice amenities, 15 minutes to the beach. Even though the arcade room was closed down because of restrictions, we enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. Would definitely come back and have already told friends about it.

Lovely Cottage

This property was fully loaded with every thing you needed for cooking. Utensils, pots, casserole dishes, etc. Amazing! I have never rented a place that had so much to make your stay very enjoyable. It is quiet, and centrally located for dining out and the beach. Good find!
