My husband and I planned a last minute trip to visit Ogunquit. We were fortunate enough to grab a reservation at The Meadowmere and our stay did not disappoint! Our room had a king size bed and was in the main resort building. Although we arrived 3 hours ahead of check-in, the room was ready. It was clean and spacious. The property has both indoor and outdoor pools as well as indoor and outdoor hot tubs. We used both the outdoor pool and tub and it was wonderful!
The location of the resort was great! We parked our car and didn’t use it again until we decided to day trip to Portland. The village is a short walk away where you can find shops, restaurants and the pathway down to the beach. Don’t miss the entrance to the Marginal Way! We walked it our first morning to Perkins Cove, had a great breakfast, and walked back!
Speaking of breakfast, we ate twice at the resorts pub, opting for breakfast. It is similar to a chain resorts complimentary breakfast but that was fine by me! Coffee and hot water are also available all day long off the lobby for your afternoon pick me up! There is also a microwave for guest use.
We had a wonderful time in Ogunquit and I would highly recommend The Meadowmere to couples and families looking to visit Southern Maine!
