"Had a very relaxing week. Fish weren’t biting but still worth it."

"Great property with very friendly owners. Lots of space and comfortable sleeping for all, nice kitchen and a great fire pit. The house was very clean and the location is great, we grabbed ice cream at the windmill each day and easy access to bike trails. If using GPS just beware that it doesn’t take you to the right place, I’d suggest putting in the resort across the street instead (Centerstone resort) just to make arrival easier"

"Great place for a long weekend stay. Very clean, well appointed kitchen Only negative think shower was broken, the bracket to hold the nozzle at a higher location, but still worked. Not a big deal."

"Loved the property and the location on Lake Nokomis. Perfect spot to start and end your day on the lake. Property was very clean and spacious with quick access to the boat ramp!"

"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."

Ended the evening with a bonfire.Lots of laughs and lots of memories made.I am so happy to have stayed here. I highly recommend staying here."

"Relaxing location and everything you need is there. Lou, the property owner, was on location most days and provided valuable information when he wasn't busy tending to the grounds and cabins. Great place at a reasonable price. "

"Seems like it is a new VRBO, the property is nice, great location. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. Maybe they are working on it. However half of our occupants were miserable and overheated, which made for a less than ideal vacation. Yes there were a couple box fans. The front door handle fell off Saturday, still was not fixed by the time we left tuesday. There is no actual private water access, the shoreline needs to be trimmed down and some sort of dock added, or not, but the shoreline is...

"We loved every min of our vacation. Perfect in every way. Grandparents, parents, almost 3 year old and a dog. We enjoyed the fire pit, grilling, kayaking, tons of yard space for games, fishing on the dock and more. We brought our boat and it was so convenient. Lou was very inviting and helpful throughout our whole stay. We will be back next year for sure. Thank you Lou and Colleen for making the best vacation for our family."

"The place was nice and very clean. But, so you are prepared there is no hair dryer or soap in the shower. I typically bring these things, but just to let you know.... No ice maker or ice cube trays either. Amenities were sparse. The place did meet our needs for what we needed it for."

"This is not our first stay here and we will continue until Alex won't have us anymore! The house is immaculate and has everything we could ever need for our weekend stay. Alex is always available in the event we need something or can't find it in the house, even stopping over to refill the toilet paper, which you need with six women in a house! You also can't beat the location. You are walking distance to a gas station and a liquor store, while still feeling like you are secluded and...
