Do Not Stay Here!
I waited a minute to write up this review trying to decide how to actually write it. We knew the place was going to an older place and that was fine but once we got there we knew we wouldn’t be staying there. We got to the house about 5:30 at night. The building in front of this house is boarded over and has a chain link fence encasing the whole house. We had been at the ball park all day and just wanted to come to the house to cool off and relax. We walked in and immediately knew the place had been cleaned. Towels were everywhere, trash was full, beds used, hair on the toilet seat, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I called and they said we had to leave for an hour or two and they would send someone over to clean it. We agreed tot why until we were leaving and as we left we saw used hypodermic needles around to property. I then called and said we wouldn’t be staying there (we had children with us) and that I wanted my money back. I told them I would be nice and pay for the first night but wanted refunded for the rest, this included me asking for the cleaning deposit back too. I then proceeded to talk to the rental management company because they charged us for the one night and the $145 cleaning fee. They told me several times they would have someone call me about the situation and no one ever did. Once I texted, someone would respond and basically told me I was I was paying the cleaning fee. The management company was difficult to deal with to say the least.
