"Weather was VERY cold during our stay! But the gas log heater inside the dome greeted us warmly and did a wonderful job of keeping us comfortable inside. We cooked our meals outside on the blacktop grill and ate on the deck admiring the creek and woods surrounding us. With below freezing highs and lows in the low teens, for a last minute get out of the city dose of nature it was a lazy relaxing trip, but would love to experience again in slightly warmer temps. We had a reservation, but they had us on an upper floor room and we asked to be moved to a 1st floor room if available, the young lady working the desk had absolutely no problem checking and moving us. She did it without hesitation and attitude. We appreciated their kindness and accommodating attitude. Thank you "

"The house is in a beautiful serene setting. It is such a peaceful place tucked away in the woods with the amazing mountain views we were looking for. It is located close to Blowing Rock and Boone. The host is very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and I loved the heated light bulbs and hot water. I would definitely come back! It snowed one day too! Thank you! "
