"I have no idea how this hotel has such a good rating. So misleading. I’m driving cross country and am exhausted from a 15 hr drive. I check Expedia and think okay this is a good one at a fair price. I get to my room, walk in and get hit with a mildew smell. The sheets on the bed were moist and the towels in the bathroom the same, moist towels. Totally disgusting. The shampoo in the bathroom they provide has enough in it for one shower. Found a large bug crawling on my wall. To top of this...

"Good budget option. Bed was very comfortable, room was spotless, breakfast was what you'd expect for an included breakfast. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Easy access to freeway, which means you can hear the traffic and construction. Air conditioners work well but are very loud. Ear plugs work well for drowning out both."

"It is understandable that the place appears run down the building has been around since the first Bush administration. with that said, I think the staff has done a great job with the canvas they have been given to paint on. they were very helpful. the room itself had a funky smell to it immediately that I never got used to and the shades are old and do not block out the sun early in the morning from an eastern facing room."
